PloyToy will release their new iPhone/iTouch/iPad game, "Hand of God" tomorrow, Thursday 18th February.

As a developer on this game I would say get up early tomorrow and go for it!

Not sure how Apple release things across the different app stores in each country. I set it to release Thursday 18th Feb so I hope that as each countries time zone moves to the 18th they will start offering Hand of God.

Nobody recognises the reference in the title of the game?

I have no idea what this game is. Is there a video or more information some where?

You can check out more information here.

All other footy games I've seen have you directing the players. In this game you are the ball! The players will try to get the ball to play a normal game but you need to keep the ball away from them, only to score as directed.

There are a 3 types of game you can go for; no score draw (any player gets the ball in and it's game over), score draw (if any player scores you need to equalise at the other end) and a score that varies as each match progresses.

There's no video yet but I will work on one.

OK, this is way to expensive. I predict low sales on this one.

Price is always a tricky one. For less than the price of a pint (less than half a pint of lager where I live) you get something fun that lasts a lot longer. The price point will be tweaked up/down if necessary but we have to pitch it somewhere to kick things off :)

I have worked in games on and off for a long time so perhaps you've come across me before (from way way back to the Commodore PET, BBC micro and also on PC, XBox and PS2 stuff).:)

Yes, I thought the iPhone in your hand footy game and the Argentina V England world cup "Hand of God" incident works nicely. :)
