    Interesting report from CNET:
    https://www.cnet.com/news/apple-is-working-on-an-ar-augmented-reality-vr-virtual-reality-headset-powered-by-a-wireless-wigig-hub/

Apple supposedly working on a wireless VR/AR headset powered by a standalone box. Said to be dual 8K displays. Super high-density 5 nanometer processors. Basically stuff that doesn’t exist yet. Anticipated for 2020 release.

    More, from TechCrunch:
    https://techcrunch.com/2018/04/27/apple-is-reportedly-building-an-insane-16k-vr-headset/

Gets me wondering what they’d expect it to be used for. Apple has never done a good job of supporting gaming.
Don’t get me wrong, stick a couple of 8K screens to my face and I’ll still be impressed. But it would be cool to have some killer game developers on board.

As a game dev, can confirm. Would definitely be interesting to see what this headset is capable of...
