Are there any apps that improves the camera's functions? I would like the following features at least:
    - Flash (can be turned on or off, brightens picture at night)
    - Zoom in/out
    - Improved resolution
    Thanks.
Oh and a related question, are there apps that can record video with sound, and has ability to export that video onto my computer? My iPhone 3G is jailbroken.

App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's missing the flash function though. It's practically impossible to take photos at nighttime with the iPhone since it doesn't provide any light source.

You can't possibly get a Flash Function- the hardware isn't there. Maybe some pre-processing, but that might be too slow for an iPhone camera. You could always do post.

How would you go about making a flash function? There's no way to do that. Just improvise, and brighten up the pictures by screwing around with the gamma.

iVideoCamera is a recently released app, I think. That allows you to record video (albeit very poor video), then export it to your Camera Roll on your iPhone.

Also a photo app suggestion: Snapture.

I just want a consolidation app, that combines all of the features, so I don't have to use different apps for different functions.
Thanks for suggestion on video camera. I'll search more about better quality video then.

Again, it just plays around with the gamma. I'd like to see you use that for night-time shots like you want to use it for, and actually get a good-looking picture :p

It takes the dynamic range and the gamma, and elevates them. That's all it does. It's relatively useless unless there's still a fair amount of light.

Are there any apps or setings for "Night" mode? Would you accept that in lue of a flash?

I am more curious if there is any camera app with full functionality that comes with guide lines (like that tick-tack-toe board) to help balance photos for free. I feel this would be relatively easy to do, hence my expectation that one might be out there that is free. I have yet to find one though...
