Hello, I'm still rather new to the whole ipad/App Store malarkey and I'm trying to find out how to do something, guess I'm just being dumb for not figuring it out myself. When searching through the App Store, how do I filter out all the free apps? Example: I'm trying to find a fun fruit machine for the wife and I want a paid game with no in-app prices to top your money up. But when I search on the store I'm getting dozens of pages of free ones. How can I filter them out? Thank you
I have been using the App Store for years - and they used to have a filter for paid and free - and they don't any more. It seems that the free stuff is pushed... As a fellow frustrated user in this regard, I will be curious if there is actually a way to do this, as i don't know of one.
Just tried that, I'm on an iPad Air and the only options I see are "any price" or "free" Sadly "any price" still brings up all the free stuff, making the whole option pretty pointless imo
Oh yeah - huh. I could've sworn that the last time I looked it had "Paid", "Any Price" and "Free". That's been ages though, so I probably just forgot. Or maybe wishful thinking. Whoops, my bad.
Yeah -they used to have an option a year or maybe 2 ago with the Paid option. But that was at least a couple of years ago. My conspiracy theory is that Apple makes more money off the free games than paid games, so they make it impossible to filter out the free stuff. Damn - I was hoping that someone would have a work around...
This might be a long shot, and you might not get the results you want, but googling "paid ios fruit machine apps" or similar might get you a couple of choices. I ended up doing that when I was looking for a chore checklist thing for my daughter as the free crap was too much to wade through.
