App Store acceptance taking a loooooonngg time..

    It's weird that Apple decided to read the jokes at first. They rejected the app several times due to inappropriate jokes. We of course removed those each time and resubmitted. After a few rejections they called me on the phone and told me to put a 17+ rating. So I did that, and it was approved on the next day.

    I've just been waiting for 5 days, so i'll not even try to complain :)

    Do apps get released on a Sunday? Just curious.

    If you're desperate for an update you can email Apple to expedite the process. Obviously don't abuse this facility but if it is a one off then the outcome should be favorable ;)

    I partially disagree. while technically some apps do get released on sundays, usually there's just a handful of them. seems like they are leftovers from the previous day

    I checked the store some 12 hours ago and the newest releases were exactly the same as are now

    Your probably single handly are responsible for the delays in the app store approvals as they needed to put the whole team on joke reading duties for a month :p
