Me and my dad are talking about making a ipod game and already have some good ideas. Were sticking to simple graphics 2d/vector/pixel and would love to have some suggestions about what type of game YOU the app store customer would love to see.
Try to include all of these in your game: - Ninjas - Robots - Bacon - The Universe - Donuts - Video Games (yes, video games in a video game) - Zombies - AWESOME Cars - Guns - And of course: The TouchArcade Community!!!!!!
We actually now have the basic idea of what the game is thanks to a brainstorming session. And guess what all of those things will be in the game except for the universe....its to big for apples file size. Now we just need some ideas for some more objects youd like to see. Sorry about being vague but Id rather not have my idea jacked!
An original idea that could keep anyone addicted, no matter the age group. You could take any ideas, and twist them apart through keep and delete and mash the ideas you crafted together. Many people like the elements that Terraria has, and you can probably mix that with the ideas you came up with. And if you make TA members into characters, I'll expect to be one >
I had a hard time playing Terraria when I first got it, after doing some research about crafting, everything became addicting. If you'd like to go big, head forward to a different concept and a new idea, with some interesting art style and a game with good repetition. Keep the background and text entertaining as well, without looking like you spent only 10 minutes designing the main menu.
Well it would be rather hard to get TA forum members into the game but I will try to fit you guys in! Dont worry its actually a very original idea and no one has done it before.....Angry Fish....
If you put "Angry" in your game name i can guarantee 60%+ of TA will not even look at your game let alone buy it.
Hahaha im sure that would happen! Its actually a game idea no one has done before and Im suprised no one has. BTW can you get into the Private Game Developers Forum if you are making a game?
