Is anyone else tired of paying for games that are unfinished or that just don't work at all. I think apple needs to reevaluate their approval proccess and the so called refund policy that doesn't exist

That way they would have to quality control every game which means that they would have to play through each game thus resulting in excruciatingly loong approval times. I do agree though that an app return policy could be implemented. Perhaps 3 day return policy?

hmmm... well, with well over 41,000 apps on the store... fully testing an app to a bug free status would be exceptionally difficult and would cause a massive bottleneck in title actually making it into the iTunes store.
Personally, my experience with buggy apps have been minimal.

    Can you give some examples?

My impression is that most iPhones crash after starting up a big game for the first time but this can be avoided by resetting your iPhone. I have a 1st generation 16GB iPod Touch and I've had little trouble with games.

However, I think Apple should introduce a system that grants important/big developers a quick approval process, or something else that separates them from the rest. This way there is no need for a 'premium store', because it probably won't be worth the effort for small developers.

This is a funny topic, as I see so many complaints in game reviews talking about crashes.

I am on my 3rd ipod touch and I have 'purchased' over 470 games.
I can count on 1 hand the number of crashes / bugs I have experienced, so NO - I don't think Apple needs to make the approval process longer. I almost never have to restart my ipod(s) either.
Not only do I no want approval times going up, but I am developing some games of my own and I would hope they get approved rather quick.

On the other hand, I have always thought that companies like Gameloft, Freeverse, EA, Popcap, etc - should be able to have games posted with virtually no approval times and should be trusted for quality, as they have proven themselves time and time again.

3 days is too long people could take advantage of it and there should be a limit so they dont exploit it

thats the purpose of lite versions to try it out before buying duhh:p
