Hi Owen, Aphonium LE is a lite edition. It displays the Immerse mode only, and chooses a single mood from a selection. Each start selects a different random mood from the selection. Aphonium SE is the standard edition. It allows you to use all the different modes: Explore, Immerse, Compose and Conduct. You can also select different moods, and it has a larger selection of moods. Aphonium is the full version, which expands on the SE edition, adding full editing options, so that you can create your own moods, and control the generative music and visuals. Cheers.
