you could have said 1st-3rd place get: haha xP what's the overal game style going to be? if you create some sample stuff, it might be easier to get everything people make to look similar so your game isn't randomness everywhere. Just a thought I will probably make a character for you depending on the demensions you would like..
I'd write up the background story and give some gameplay ideas if you told me a little more clearly of what the game will be about!

Nothing. That's just it, there is no game name, no character name, no plot, all I have is that the character must have a profession like Mario is a plumber, and that there will be an end of world boss, like Bowser. I've got no clue, I'm thinking about it though, and I want the character's name to end in o or io and I want it to be one word like Mario. If you have any ideas, let me know. After all, that IS what the contest is for. lol

So basically you want ideas from us other than it being a platformer? xP That's cool though. I think having the name end in o or io is too similar, and the boss better not end in "owser", or even "er", because thats just corny and too similar to even stand out. You need to make it unique rather than just a plain out copy.
It's not going to end in owser, I said I want it to be a tough, one word like Bowser. And I don't think it's too close ending it in o. And not giving you guys many details is the fun part. It makes it a challenge! lol
