i am still using iphone 3g now, wanted to upgrade it to 4 when it first release. but apple show us the white color that i like it more than the black one. but until now the white color still have not yet released. anyone know why? the white case is harder to produce? i have heard rumors about iphone5 is already on the way, i am afraid that soon after i got my white iphone4 than they announce the iphone5 release. apple usually release a new model every year and iphone4 has released for more than half year already. btw did they announced the exact release date of the white iphone4?
Light leaking from the case is the problem. Release has been pushed back till 2011, and if that's the case I can assume it'll be out with next year's iPhone update which I doubt will be an iPhone 5, probably same form factor with a small design change and something new to the software.
I said 2011, they said 2011. I'm assuming logically it'll just be out with next year's update, but my assumption could be wrong. Either way it's 2011.
There are some DIY kits for that, depending on how confident you are in semi-taking apart a shiny new iPhone.
What's all the fuss about the white!? Yeah sure it would be nice to have an option between the two but I wouldn't wait months just to get a white one.
there are white cases and therer are kits to change the color manually.... ever looked at ebay or heard of google???? no offense
Light Leakage It makes sense, the camera is so sensitive even having a white or clear case on the black iPhone too close to the lens causes washout and reflected light. I can't image how f***ed it is trying to build a full white case with a glass front and back - light reflection up the you know what.
i don't dare to change the case myself. I don't trust either my skill or the quality of the custom case. i wanna an official product produce my apple.
