Anyone need iPhone Wallpapers?

Aight, I made this touchgrind one in between my last post and now. I know it's real sloppy and everything, just thought I could do something this morning. I definitely do some more work later today, I'm just not that motivated right now. Don't worry, my other work will be other than this .
Also, I think i saved it as a low quality jpeg for size reasons, so idk how it will look... I also need to get around to doing some artwork for Barrington Software for Bullet Skater...

I didn't really feel like doing anything with the top, when it's on your iDevice it doesn't really show up.

 

fyi - Tho not game related, kitsunenoir has some sweet artist/designer made desktops including iphone formats. He's got quite a few good ones up there now all gratis

I did make it specifically for the devs, but also for any fans of the game. I don't think it's my best, I think my Fastlane ones are (by far) and apparently this one is not professional enough I have to tweak it a bit (well don't have to, but will).
Also I 110% agree with the wallpapers included in games, I even asked the FDG guy and he said:

unfortunately it's not cool enough and an extra <250kB is too much in a game :S, so you know, maybe we could start with another dev.. but it's still a valid point.. kind of.

Anyway, you guys are too kind in regards to wallpapers . I'm going to tweak it to suit FDG Ent.'s needs, then see what happens.

I think half of what he said made some sense, but the rest didn't really sound right....

250kb of space - Really? That's too much? I don't think there are too many effects either. I think there's a perfect amount and it really fits the game's look/artwork, too.

And, I don't really think they gave a very nice response to you after offering your wallpaper to them for free. If I were a developer, I'd be pleased to know someone cared enough for my game that they'd spend the time making a wallpaper just for my game. Even if the wallpaper was a piece of junk, I'd still appreciate it. I wouldn't give a list of all the things that are wrong with it, but I'd thank the person.

I don't think they were too nice and I doubt I'll even consider looking at their games now that I know that's how they react to something like this...

Anyway, like I said, some of it made sense, but not all of it. Keep doing what you're doing Paulio. At least I appreciate them, lol

 

May I offer you guys some advice? This thread is getting ridiculously big and is hard to find the wallpapers we're looking for as they're scattered all throughout the thread. Maybe you can update the first post with all the new wallpaper that is released? That'd help out a lot...

Yeah, but they'd still have to be on the first page or their sig or something. A busy man such as myself cannot afford to waste time in trivial matters such as looking for wallpaper ...

Yeah, calling it a "gimmick" is a little bit harsh, but.. I guess it is lol.. but I like gimmicks. The iPhone is a gimmick, Bobby Carrot is a gimmick, so you know, how can he complain lol.
BTW, I asked him what he thought I should do with it, he seems like a nice guy. And he said if it was cool he would mention it or something..

this isn't infringing on any copyrights, right? I have a mgs one and another one I made, but since I'm not selling it I'm allowed to post them here, right?

 

If anything the devs will be happy a fuss is being made over their games I think. I didn't have permission with Fastlane and nothing happened..

 

Well, I don't think there are any problems with making wallpapers. This thread would've been locked/deleted long ago if there were possible copyright problems. Anyway, you can get the pictures just about anywhere on Google... I mean they're just pictures... It's not like you're giving out anything illegal
