I think my friend has just won this competition: They just need to confirm his details and if all is good, off we go I saw the trailer before Avatar and quite liked the dark twist (only to be expected from Tim Burton) so I was planning on seeing it at the IMAX, but... this is much better.
That's quite the package your friend got there. Definitely better than IMAX. I will definitely be seeing this one. Tim Burton's stuff is always enjoyable.
Eh, debatable. He's fantastic at artistical direction, but he could step it up a couple notches at actual direction. After the Willy Wonka remake, though, I honestly don't think anything with Depp is a "must-see". Sure, he would in no way top Gene Wilder, but he went into too many gray areas. Gene was in-between childish and crazy, Johnny was childish, crazy, insecure, bipolar, traumatic, rebellious, obnoxious...
I can't wait for it 'cause it comes out on my b-day . In all fairness it looks really good, congrats to your friend by the way, that sure sounds like it will be a great oppurtunity to ..............................OH MY GOD PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU THAT SOUNDS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!
Not seeing it, it just looks......weird (for lack of a better word) EDIT: And I love Alice in wonderland, I actually acted in a play of it, but this just does not look right.
Too tired to elaborate, I'm about to fall asleep, but... it was pretty good. Feels like more of a complete story than other versions which were usually just a series of weird events one after another. Johnny Depp in Mad Hatter make up reminds me of Frodo.
