    Funny I almost started a thread on this myself! I got the free app from geocaching.com and looked for my first one last week! I didn't find it though..:(

    but there is a ton near me so I'm going to keep at it!..

    I like the travel bugs, it's nice to track them down, see where they come from, where they're going. The official app is also well done, there's almost no need to go back online after coming back from geocaching. I haven't found any in awhile, but now that the snow is melted I'll be back at it soon.

    That sounds fun. But I have an original iPhone with no GPS :(
    Although, I'll probably get the iPhone 4G later on in the summer.

    I love geocaching! Though i only use my GPS for it...and plus my family has found everything thats relatively close to us

    omg, thanks for sharing this. I've been doing huge adventures around san francisco lately and geocaching sounds like insane fun in this city.
