I mean it would work well on the touch... they had it on jailbroken ipods
anyone think its possible?
anyone else wanna see...
...a topic with a more descriptive title?
UPDATE: I see a moderator has changed the topic title now.
i know right!!!
Honestly I wouldn't mind a pokemon game for the ipod touch but I doubt it will happen. I'm not a kid either just think the first couple of games were very fun. Even if it's not pokemon, a game of it's type would be cool since with updates you get new creatures to collect and with wifi abilitys you can easily play with other people.
No, we want pokemon. Every other attempt has been utter crap.
1. A more descriptive topic title would be nice
2. Pokemon is a Nintendo IP. Nintendo does not release games for non-Nintendo systems. So Pokemon on iTouch/Phone will most likely NEVER happen. EVER.
3. The best you can hope for is Capcom making a Monster Hunter game for the platform (and, honestly...that sort of thing is something Apple should hope for...look at what Monster Hunter did to the previously anemic PSP sales in Japan). Or Sega releasing a Dinosaur King and/or Musha King game.
Yea I'm hoping for something like Monster Hunter, think it would be great for the ipod touch.
What's w/ iPhone users and all the Pokemon love? Is it like a feeling of nostalgia, or is the demographic just full of tweeners?
I hope that I'm not coming across as abrasive, but there always seems to be more than several people requesting this game in 'future hopeful' threads.
Someone fill me in?
I share the sentiment, though not with pokemon. I wish a good on-the-go RPG would make it to the iPhone.
There's Pokemon for the DS, so I don't see the point.
There ARE a few good RPGs out for this platform. Check out Vay or Chronicles of Inotia, to name a couple.
By that I mean, good if your idea of a fun RPG isn't completely based on whatever title Squenix decides to shovel out to the gaijin.
To this day, Vay is still one of the most memorable RPG's from my childhood (along with the unrelated grid-based Shining Force series). I'd easily recommend Vay to anyone looking for an RPG on their iDevice.
Maybe something along the lines of pokemon, just with different "monsters" or whatever. I think that the style of the pokemon games as rpgs is good, monster collecting and all, so the best we could hope for is a similar style, but not exactly "pokemon" type game. Then again, it would also be at risk for lawsuits and copyrights so it doesn't seem to be a good possibilty.
