I recently found that the app Puzzle Pirate is on the app store.

I can't give you a link as I am on my iPod but does anybody know if it is any good and/or similar to the PC Puzzle Pirates? http://www.puzzlepirates.com

    Thanks

  2. Ok there is Puzzle Pirates
    http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=297860427&mt=8

    Pipes
    http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=296105712&mt=8

    Hamster Dash
    http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=295232313&mt=8

    Paradox 3000
    http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=294170801&mt=8

    Balloonia
    http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=295533530&mt=8

I think the best of all of the pipes games might have to go to Balloonia. It came out at $8 I think it was which destroyed it since who is gonna pay that much for a pipe game. Now it's $2 so I think Balloonia is your best bet. And to answer your original question no it's not similar to your link.

Paradox is pretty good. It was really addicting for a while, then it got kind of easy. Somehow it seems like hard mode is easier than regular too.

    PuzzleManiak's NetManiak

PuzzleManiak have a similar game that has a less polished appearance called NetManiak: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=285728594&mt=8

I like this because you can change the number of tiles in the puzzle and you can choose to play in a wall less mode where the connections wrap around the screen edges. This makes gameplay much more challenging as after a while I did find the puzzles rather easy. There is a free lite version which has the smaller, easy, playing board and you can buy the full version by itself or it comes in their PuzzleManiak game pack with 15 other games.

Pipes has recently added this wall less game mode to their puzzle. I have Pipes but I have not played the updated version yet.

I purchased Balloonia after the price drop and have found it to be just too easy for me. It looks good and has some interesting effects with different balloons that inflate when you connect the pipes but I soon got bored with it.

There were some good reviews for Paradox 3000 when it was released but I haven't purchased that one (yet!).

I haven't seen any feedback on Hamster Dash yet. And I'm also interested to know what others think about Puzzle Pirates.

By the sounds of Puzzle Pirate it is a cross between gunning and alchemistry on the real Puzzle Pirates
