Is there any way to reinstall an earlier version of an app I have without deleting the app from my device first? I updated an app, found it had bugs, then replaced the newest version with an older version in iTunes, and then went to sync. At this point, iTunes said that it found something on my device that's not in iTunes, do I want to transfer it, if not the data will be lost. I said no, thinking the buggy update would be replaced by the older version, but it doesn't work.
You forgot "wanking the frog" and "walking to France." I suppose I could restore to a backup, but that takes me like 12 friggin' hours. I guess I'll just play other stuff until a fixed patch come out. Had planned to spend like 2 hours with this game today. Damn that is annoying.
If I might interrupt for a moment; it is possible to replace an app with a previous version. Did you try uninstalling the app before syncing? That's kind of important.
Yeah, but the point is I don't want to uninstall it first because I'll lose my save data. I've put over 10 hours into the game already and don't want to start over.
