So my phone went through the washer several months ago and ever since then the home button spazzes out every few minutes. It basically becomes possessed and "pushes" itself over and over, randomly activating Siri, closing apps, etc. It's among the most irritating things I've ever experienced, especially when I'm trying to do something important (texting, using maps, etc.). So rather than try to replace any parts, I've decided to jailbreak, hoping I can find a "tweak" which will completely disable the home button. I'm 100% new to jailbreaking (just completed it a few minutes ago) and would greatly appreciate some advice on any apps or anything that might help my situation. Thank you!

Download Activator from Cydia. Open the settings panel and choose "Everywhere" - "Homebutton" - "do nothing". problem solved. Along with this, you also should asign a new gesture for closing your apps, etc.
