in fact i still think gangstar rio is better than GTA chinatown, n zenonia 3 is at least deeper than ff3.
People who have played Monster Hunter know that this isn't really a fair comparison. Monster Hunter has 500 hours of gameplay! Most $60 dollar console games have nowhere near that amount of gameplay.
I could see this question being asked 1 1/2 - 2 years ago. Since that time there have been plenty of original/stolen/generic/AAA titles that offer much more depth than psp games. ****You should be asking "are there any psp games that are as deep and cheap as ios games?"
I wouldn't say Temple of Light is deep on any platform... I've got it on PS3 and it's still just a few hours long.

no way, you only know part of the story. I choose Rio over GTA 3, but I have GTA 4, which is better than Rio. moreover, I have RDR better than all of them. I choose Zenonia over FF, but it's Zenonia 3 vs FF 3, and my favourite is ME series. I choose Crazy Hedgy over Mario, how can you say CH is random garbage? It's unfair. Indie just have a pretty bad living conditions compared to the giant, but it's not means their games are bad. I would choose The Walking Dead over Phoenix Wright anyday, fame, history ,developer statue, price and things like that should not count into the gameplay. I can truly say FF3 is not only a game worse than Z3, it's a bad game in the eyes of nowdays norm. I say so not based on graphic, it's about it's poor gameplay and stupid plot. I can accept a kinda stupid story of Rio, but I can't accept a plot as stupid as FF3. and plot of Z3 is much better than it. btw, IOS spiderman and batman is easily better than their handheld counterpart , it's how new tech works. Let alone some platforms never get the game due to their user base. They already show you a cheaper game could be better than a 40 dollar one is not a possibility but could really happen. Different platforms good at different genres, is GTA chinatown anywhere close to a real sandbox game? you can run as fast as a running car? futhermore, I am not judge them by graphic or 3D, I judge them by gameplay. when I was younger than young, I used to play some so called classics but I never defend them by claim they are superior when I see something really better. I'd admit I have nearly no exp about JRPG, but FF3 is a bad one.
I sort of agree with klarence. I am not referring to his taste in games( I hate all the games mentioned including the 'classics' and the krpgs which are like a blight on the appstore) of course but the fact that some people tend to harp on how graphics aren't important ,put 'classics' on the pedestal and are unable to look at games objectively. FF3 is terrible by modern gaming standards. But honestly... there is no point comparing ios games with psp/vita games. There just aren't enough ambitious developers in the appstore.
