Man, this thread had me wonder WTF with Avadon. Kept thinking there's a lot of stupid people out there misspelling Aralon.

But it was me that was losing my mind, never heard of Avadon because I don't have an iPad!

But anyway, IMO, there may not be that many games that are as "massive and deep" as PSP games. But there have been plenty that have been just as good. Particularly when you do start comparing some of the crap that has come out for PSP with some of the incredible games you can get for a dollar or two.

The iOS may not have quite caught up as far as "deep" goes. But it isn't that far behind either. Wasn't it just last week that revealed that iOS/Android gaming has now taken over the PSP and DS combined?

There's too many great games on the iOS for me to mention. I'm not a iOS fan boy but I'd still take it with me in an instant over the PSP.

    Depth in what respect?

SFIV Volt, through it's great online multiplayer matches, provides endless matches and strategy, and I got it for 99cents. What on PSP can match that?

Aralon is brilliant, Sword and Sworcery is great, as is Frotz [Yeah, I went there, Frotz. Your move, PSP].

Frankly, a project as massive as Order & Chaos wouldn't work on PSP. We've got great things like Mage Gauntlet and King of Dragon Pass, and the ultimate in "depth" - Mission Europa :D

The car physics that Gameloft have not been able to fix all this time has also kept me out of this "action".
When I drive in a car in Gangstar Rio,the game freezes for a second.
The voice acting, the repetitive missions also keep me out of the "action".

well i have a ds, psp, 3ds and an ipad2, and im in hospital alot, and the 1 i make sure i do take with me is my ipad (just for the games), the others i aint too fussed whether i take them or not. obviously there are some games i prefer to play on the psp like prince of persia, but then theres others i prefer on the ipad, like sid meiers pirates. both of these games are on both platforms.

to me, aralon is better than any rpg on the psp as its closer to an elder scrolls game than anything on the psp.

there are great games on both platforms, but the fact is, u get more bang for ur buck on the ipad as the games are alot cheaper, ie final fantasy 3 on ds and ipad, ds price at release £30, ipad at release £10. but i guess at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference

"freezes for a second" never happen to me,I think its the problem of device. 4s and ipad 2 works better.

Same! I am really enjoying this game! There is so much to do, and it's probably the longest Gameloft game that has been ever released. I did not buy the previous Gangstars before though, so maybe it was rated poorly due to the similar campaign and bad (yet funny) voice acting.

Gangstar Rio is an awesome game, and I am also shocked that it got a low score!

I like Chaos Rings, but there is nothing massive or deep about it.

It's great compared to other iTunes offerings. Can't hold a candle to real RPGs.

Maybe not deep, but, i'll tell you the games that i consider really worth it to play

    Infinity Blade Saga
Chaos Rings Saga (and soon Chaos Rings 2)
Galaxy On Fire 2 (with the iAP Valkyre, it's really much better)
    Dead Space (with headphones)
    Dungeon Defenders
    Real Racing 2
Zenonia Saga (this is if you like the story)
    Street Fighter IV Volt
The King Of Fighters i (i rather it than SFIV, but there is no multiplayer)
    MADDEN NFL 12
    FIFA 2012

I recommend you RAGE HD and Anomaly Warzone Earth, but i'm not entirely sure

    And some ports:
    Final Fantasy III
    Plants vs Zombies
    Crimson Gem Saga
    Prince of Persia Warrior Within

And if you don't matter the originality, i'll put you some games of Gameloft:

    Order & Chaos
N.O.V.A. 2 (i like so much more the multiplayer than the campaign)
Modern Combat 3 (same as nova)

    And i want to try:

    Desert Zombie: Last Stand
    Warm Gun
    Epoch
    Batman Arkham City: LockDown
    The Bard's Tale

And the last ones, but not less important, the casuals:

    Angry Birds (Of course)
    Fruit Ninja
    Tiny Wings
    Zombie Highway
    World Of Goo
    Osmos

It's really a list xD i played many games, but maybe i forgot some in the list; i hope to sirve you. See ya.

ps. i remembered that enyoyed Aralon, and even with many things to polish, it was a great game
