Son still loves Angry Birds and the movie looks like it will be funny so we will definitely be watching it.
Just got back from the movie. I thought it was pretty good and a clever use of the IP. As someone who loves The Simpsons TV series, I should have known I'd like it as the writer is the same guy who wrote The Simpsons Movie and also writes for the show.
I thought the previews were fun. Still I wouldn't go out to watch when I'm not that interested in anything Angry Birds. I'm curious as to how well (bad?) this did at the box office. Those numbers come out later today I believe.
not sure that I'll go and check the movie out. I saw the trailer and only one moment made me laugh when they birds were in the lake of wisdom. I'm not that fan of Angry Birds, but I believe that the movie will be a huge success among kids of various ages. And I'm really amazed how Rovio is doing their brand management: going offline was a brave step and they succeeded with all that drinks and other stuff. Shooting a movie based on Angry Birds brand is also an awesome step of gaining more loyal audiences all over the world. I wonder what are their games' retention rates))) after all that brilliant work outside the gaming market.

I've seen it and I enjoyed it. Pretty good animation and story, but it wasn't something that I focused on. I liked 'hidden meaning'.
I do. I'am interested on that movie because of my daughter.. She love the games as well as my nephew..
