I'm a fan of the music, but know next to nothing about the musicians beyond Jerry Garcia, so I need a bit of help in tagging this image... I listen to AoxomoxoA (original Jerry Garcia 1969 mix) at least once a month all the way through. My second favourite album released in the late 60s - next to The Soft Parade by the Doors. Love almost everything the Dead recorded - except I'm not a fan of some of their more than usual stoned-out live performances.
So midan can make a Grateful Dead topic, but I make a Hammerfall topic and are asked to join the metal topic? I don't know what I am complaining about lol. Sorry for the small rant. P.S. I LOVE the Grateful Dead!
I am not a fan but my older brother took me to a concert of theirs in Kansas City in the early 80's and that was my first experience with them. I just remember tons of smoke (pot) in the air and songs that went on forever.
