I know there are a lot of art appreciaters here (at least, judging by the number of 'I love the art style' type comments I see everywhere), I'm just curious to know, are any of you artists? Not in a super professional sense, necessarily, even if you just like to sketch for fun or something.
I've sorta dabbled with photomanipulation and graphic design over the past decade or so... I don't do it as a career though.
I have been writing for 10+ years. I focus mostly on poetry, but I have worked with other forms. I also draw/sketch/paint occasionally.
I can produce some amazing art by hand from sketching, painting, to sculpting, but I suck with digital art :X
i like to draw and doodle around and what not.. and photoshop.. artist naw.. just a hack that likes to get creative.. any way i can.. be it photoshop, or my guitar. chris.
Writing. I do love me some writing on the rare occasion that I have a good original idea. I'm famous for my facebook statuses.
Anything that's artistic, I do it and I do it well. Write, draw, sculpt, music... Now math and sciences? Unless it's something I can memorize (good memory), I suck at it.
I play piano, sing, compose, write, sketch, and photoshop. I wonder if they'll come up with an app that uses iPad as a photoshop tablet, it seems perfect for the job.
I was thinking the same thing. I've done a little art myself, just a few little things. The Mona Lisa is by far my favorite work; some of you may have heard of it.
The Mona Lisa blows. Michaelangelo's Sisteen Chapel is A LOT better. And I've seen both of them in person, so I'd know.
I love the challenge, but I got some things that can't be scanned... I'll see if I already have pictures of them tho...
You may know me from my works. Hint: I'm on a very high-up show at a New York gallery right now. No, I do enjoy amateur videography & photography. When I do more traditional forms, they focus around telling a story. I once did a very compelling piece about the space racoons & volcanos tennis match IN SPACE! during an Apollo mission.
