Anomaly Warzone Earth HD - 139.6 mb Anomaly Korea - 165 mb Anomaly 2 - 1.20 GB Ouch. Not even in the same ballpark as the other versions, which I always appreciated the incredible graphics for such small file sizes. Definitely in no kind of hurry to get this one now, will have to wait until I finish some other games to remove first.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, We're talking about graphics breakthrough here. Our goal was to bring pc-quality to mobile devices and we did that. The game filesize cannot be smaller than that. thanks!
Is Anomaly 2 the same game as on PC or is it somehow a lite port of the original? I'm asking because I think that Anomaly Warzone Earth (1) in ios was not the same as it was on PC / consoles. I think it had fewer missions and different gameplay. It was great though!
Just played the first mission, and I am totally impressed. Visuals, audio, controls and the usual Anomaly gameplay formula. Now it has a more engaging story telling during missions, non-stop voice overs, mech transformations, this game is top notch.
Am I right in assuming this is a pure premium game without IAP (like the other two)? Seems a rarity these days from Chillingo. I'm not big into reverse tower defense, but I could see giving this a try after I get my 5S.
Sounds great and for a game like this, I'd be willing to take the hit on the file size. As soon as I get room, this will be mine. Actually, I'll take the dive and ask, is this coming out on Android? And if so, when? Have some more give and take on my Nexus 7.
We need a little more time and we're ready to go to Android. It's kind of hard to estimate how many days exactly, but please expect the news to come soon. @nkarafo - this is the same as PC but we've re-designed the game mechanics entirely for touchscreen gameplay @nightc1 - no, sir! No IAPs. Pure premium game. If we sell stuffillion times bazillion units we're gonna deliver free DLCs too, hopefully.
Thanks for the replies. I'll add this to my watch list for after I get my 5S (hopefully within the next month).
I noticed the 16:9 aspect ratio when I watched it earlier. It is a nice change from the 4:3 ipad captures.
If it's a straight steam > ios port with controls optimised for touch, then this game is going to blow people out of the water. It's -insane-. Granted, as I own it on steam I'm not sure I'll be up for double dipping quite yet, my system means I get to play it at 1080p on a big monitor with ALL THE PRETTY *cheesy grin*
Loved the first two, but the file size has me concerned. Can anyone tell me if this is different from the prior 2, or pretty much the same... Thanks!
