Shield was helpful in the tutorial stage (I know you know). You are not alone, but must stand alone (we are not changing this title as Animus was taken). Grind sub-quests and Rift for better gear. Good ones come at the end of the Day (new game). Recovery is when you "estus up" and replenish HP. Pixie dying sound will be added in updates next year. Most first seen assets in Animus (compared with Ire) will make it into Ire - Blood Memory. We are showcasing them here first. Animus is our humble entreaty to you the players. Given the opportunity, we could do more.
Update was rolled out this morning. Addresses joystick, iPad controller ratio, mission clear messages, shop (we are very surprised people are using IAPs, but that's their freedom), bugs etc. More to come. There is a story. Ire players will be able to relate more (Ire - Blood Memory is an F2P game). Nevertheless, Animus can stand on its own. Memory has fallen. The world is corrupt. People tried to save it. It is beyond that point. Try and end it. Oh, and you have been here before.
Shield. DaS asks you to use shield. This later evolved into different areas of difficulty in 2, Bloodborne, and 3.

Ow thanks for replying, now i understand what recovery is, and i must reset my skill from it, is there any chance that you will change the memory shard to gems instead for summoning npc?
A bit of feedback on 1.0.4 controls on 12.9. Size of buttons/pad is OK (but could easily stand being a bit smaller) left joypad could be closer to the outside edge but isnt too bad. The main issue is right hand buttons. They could really use being quite a bit closer together and a bit closer to the outside edge. I would say that distance between outside edge and first button and the distance between buttons could easily be 50% what it is now. Great that you guys are looking at this, not only for your game but helping set a precedent for iPad gaming in general.
This is an awesome game, and glad to see representation on ur end! After getting past the "tutorial" boss (a lesson in pain # ), I've made it to the 4th boss and have to say this game rocks! I played with mfi and it actually made my virtual playstyle better off for it. Both ways work well once some time is spent, so touche, and excellent game....GOTY contender, slipped right in before the end of the year....touche indeed ###
finally i can play this game, TBH i never play an action game with the combat system as good as this one on mobile phone(the second one is implosion). on console i can say that bloodborne is the best one. animus nailed it for the mobile standard and worth on every bucks. starting with combat system: they made the enemy AI to move and attack with random variation so you have to know where to dodge and when to block the attack. so far i already beat 3 bosses and i can say that the first boss is the hardest. suggestion to make the combat system better or even perfect: please add parry. when perfect parry the enemy attack, they will stun like 2 seconds to give time to attack. same like in bloodborne. timing is everything. the next is how the character walk: you need to tweaks the animation a little bit more. this is always been an issue to me with mobile developers. its till feels like the character is sliding towards and not walking. all foursaken media games always has this issue and its not getting better on their last game. animus is almost great but still not perfect with this. detail tutorial? i think this probably important for the new players. how to upgrade the skills, or when you can change the new weapon, etc. the last one is full support for the controller. still find some part that i have to use touch screen to be able to open some menu. in game with controller are fully support so nothing to complain here. here is some gameplay on iPhone X with nimbus controller: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Fantastic Absolutely loving this game. I am on the 4th boss now and startling to realize how demanding this game is going to become. The one thing I have yet to figure out is how you actually walk in this game. Iv turned off auto run and used both my mfi controller and touch controls but my character still runs everywhere. It is not a huge deal but being able to walk would be nice on occasion (especially around corners). Am I doing something wrong or is the ability to walk not present?
When i knock an opponent down and start pummelling them (pressing the special kill button) I do no damage.... is that intentional? Sure, it looks great, but very disheartening to see the guy just get up from a beating like that.
