Universal Animus - Stand Alone (By 10Birds)

Not just boss fights but it is level based similar to Ire. So also not a whole lot of exploration.

Basically if you like Ire, this is even more polished, premium and offline.

 

yeah, there are many “ez” monsters in the levels. combat and controls are amazing, but some of the bosses/monsters are pretty fast, so you’ll need to react as fast as you can.

 

I am curious about revives. You start with 3 but not sure if you can earn more in-game or not.

LOVING this- Definitely like Ire with a new camera perspective. Hope they add multiplayer in some form but I always have plenty of ways to scratch that itch with Ire still. This is a ton of fun! Closest to DS we'll see on mobile aside from MHFU. Tenbirds RULES ######

 

Think 10Birds might have more success with this if they remove “Stand Alone” from the title. Probably confusing and this game can be played without even knowing about Ire. Really hope this does well for them.

That said I was happy to see the game featured in the “Great on iPhone X” section on the App Store.

 

Usually when someone post GOTY here, it’s usually mean for their respected platform which is iOS

It's worth every dollar, it's a great game, of the few that are in the AppStore, the difficulty is quite high, so it's a great challenge. This is one of its first versions, not perfect, but it is certainly a game that is worth trying out and by the way support the developers, as they are a company Indie and try to do what many companies do not do.
Note: It runs very smoothly on iPhone 7 also works great with mfi gamepads, in my case I use the steelseries stratus.

 

It will. On medium graphics settings it runs fine.

 

Does this have some kind of upgrade system or different weapons ?

 

Both. You can loot different weapons/weapon classes from missions or bosses and upgrade any through the forge

 

Difficulty

Is there an adjustable difficulty ?

 

Holy crap is that third(?) boss hard. Stuns you before you can do much of any damage to him.
