It's pretty hard to explain, but I'm looking for an application (Mac) that can help me mimic the animations in a 2D iPhone game. To make it a little more understandable, I need something that will let me create a..... concept video..... of what Stick RPG could look like on the iPhone. I guess I could use a screen capturing utility to take a video of the flash video, but then I need something that will let me post that recorded video into an iPhone screen (computer). It's hard to explain, I know, but any help would be much appreciated. - James
So you wanna put a video of Stick RPG onto an iPhone's screen. That's easy enough. Just put the video over the image and render. But what about the aspect ratio? BTW, I use Anime Studio Pro for animation. It has a bone-based system which is perfect for stick figures. You can also import video, pics, 3D objects, and what not. There's a demo at the web site. Works pretty well for me. It's actually pretty cheap, too. $200, I think.
Hard to explain=hard to answer. You could always save the video; convert it for iPhone format; and play it. I don't realy understand this fully; but think my friend could help you out. I'll ask him tomorrow.
kamzar pretty much has it laid out for you....i did something like this on adobe premier a while back i wish i could tel you how but i dont remember....stick rpg would be my favorite game for the ipod by far i love it i used to play it for hours lol, i would pay $10 for this easily i really hope a developer picks up this game and ports it over...
Hey, if you have a video, I could do it for you. I probably couldn't do the fingers (I'm not that great an artist without a Wacom tablet), but I'll give it a shot.
