Speed through a world full of dangers and bananas, find all the hats, or forget all that nonsense and just play other people’s stuff. - "If you are in a lighthearted mood and want a game you can sit down to and enjoy while laughing out loud, then Animal Super Squad is your game." -Touch Arcade (Rating: 5/5). - "A crazy platforming/karting adventure game that is a joy to play." -Android Police (Rating: 4.5/5). - "Animal Super Squad is one of those games that’s equal parts ‘WTF?’ and ‘this is awesome!" -Nintendolife (Rating: 8/10). Animal Super Squad is a new and creative game where a big part of the gameplay is created and shared by the community. Play community levels, upvote the best maps, and once a week, experience the most creative content in the weekly featured spotlight. Naturally, you can play the developer-made Adventure Mode as well, which features a smooth learning curve in the beginning, and frustratingly impossible levels in the end. * Play as your favorite animal - As long as your favorite animal is either a chicken, a fish or a sloth. * Choose from a variety of vehicles - Each with different controls, don't worry, you'll figure them out along the way. * Get to the other side of the level to win - You know how this works, you’ve played games before, jeez. * Unlock stuff! - Like a useful tinfoil hat or a dead octopus on your head. * Community-driven level editor - gives endless replayability by letting you make and share levels, and compete in making the best (or worst) level. * Physics-based gameplay - is 100% accurate 90% of the time, (to be honest, we don't really know how physics works). Above all, the level editor is so cool. fabianb Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2014 1,009 0 36 #6 fabianb, May 20, 2018 Does the mobile game have the level editor included? I cant find that info. raravan Well-Known Member May 18, 2014 829 38 28 #7 raravan, May 20, 2018 yep, it’s included. fabianb Well-Known Member Nov 1, 2014 1,009 0 36 #8 fabianb, May 20, 2018 Last edited: May 21, 2018 Thanks. Los Angeles, CA. http://www.igornemirovsky.com #10 imusic, May 23, 2018 Good game - difficult controls at times So I can see this is a really great game. Has a bit of that Little Big Planet vibe combined with elements of Badlands. But its not without its mobile-port-woes. 1.) The touch controls layout makes an already difficult game even more so due to the close proximity of the turbo buttons to the regular arrows. On top of that your thumb often covers up the turbo buttons, which makes precision hard at times. 2.) The zoom-outs sometimes cause the character to be so tiny that, again, precision becomes difficult. This is, at its heart, a puzzle platformer. And not an easy one. Precise controls are a must. And if you cant see which direction your chopper blades are pointing (for example) that can make maneuvering difficult. 3.) There are a few places in which the camera doesnt quite keep up with the character, again making precise timings a difficult thing. All that said, still a great game. And so far bug-free (minus the occasional camera snafu). I can see a lot of love went into it. And the asking price is very reasonable. ctathemarius Well-Known Member May 11, 2018 185 53 28 #11 ctathemarius, May 23, 2018 The inadequate experience on mobile should be fully improved through the update. orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #12 orangecan, May 23, 2018 Id pretty much second all those comments, the turbo thing is particularly annoying. Also Ive died on a fair few occasions without knowing whats actually killed me - literally no idea why. I cant work out if youve a certain number of hits or anything, but on more than one occasion Ive died while (I think) just flying through the air. In spite of it Im really enjoying it, it deserves more attention than its getting on here, it would be nice if the minor problems were addressed though. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
