At the first glance this looks like a little childrens game. So, can someone tell me what all the fuzz is about? (Absolutely no offense meant. Just genuinely curious.)
The fact that Nintendo hasn't got their servers working in proper order is very disappointing. Don't release a game if your not ready. I also understand that this is supposed to be released tomorrow officially, but that just makes it even more disappointing. Also what is with the terrible loading screens? How does game this simple require so much loading time?
So many errors. Not being able to collect Leaf tickets from my mailbox because of a constant error is quite disappointing. Ive spent just as much time tapping Retry and Return to Title as I have actually playing the game. Hopefully, Nintendo can sort this in the next day or two.
For those of you who have been able to play, has anyone picked up the chairs for Slider and/or Nook? I feel like its a must have, but Im only at around 200 leaf tickets so far.

No recent errors Had a bunch when I first loaded at 7am EST but since then haven't had issue. Been playing got Jay to come over, did trees (waiting for cooldown for second set). Entertaining so far, not sure about the KK/Tom stools yet though. Not sure if I want to spend money on it. If you'd like to add: 3107 7420 862

I'm working through all the quests (just started playing this morning around 6am). I think I'm 220 tickets in - I linked Nintendo Network ID, etc, and there were a ton of leaf tickets for rolling through a stack of quests. I don't know about saving for Nook, but KK is my fave! Definitely going to spend my first 250 leaf tickets on KK Slider. Too bad I can't just "NFC boop" my KK Slider amiibo and get his chair. I don't see me purchasing leaf tickets at any point though -- I'm not the F2P type. This will just be fun for shaking trees, picking fruit, catching fish, etc.
Allowing Amiibo to also get special items would have been a great way for Nintendo to make more money. I have so many amiibo I could have used.
