The dev don't need a developer anymore as their product is big enough to market itself. It's business, plain and simple. Plus there is NO evidence of them 'trashtalking' chillingo at all, unless you'e seen otherwise? hahah theirs your problem right there. Don't have a cry if you're going to attack the very market you're trying to work in.

If you love the original and want more levels themed with halloween that are more difficult get it. Rovio has said that they will be updating this and the original for free still win/win
It has a lot of content already and it's going to get more content. The new theme is great (I love the bats skittering away.) It's 99 cents. If you liked the original, buy it. If you haven't bought the original version, I'd buy that first.
It's not a rip-off, it FEELS like a rip off compared to the original, which is the same price. It's probably a victim of the first being so feature rich. What kind of updating are they planning on doing?
Has anyone figured out how to reach the golden egg in the pumpkin shell on the ledge in 3-2? I'm thinking it's by an explosion from below somehow but haven't quite gotten it yet. This one is definitely much harder (especially getting 3 stars in each level) than the original. And I LOVE it!
Nevermind! I got it using the 'bird'erang and launching it backwards. On it's way back, if aimed just right, you can hit it. Funny bonus level too
I think if you are so broke that you are concerned about spending 99 cents on a game that has gotten 1700 5-star reviews in less then a week, you should probably skip this one and save the money.

Ok I just encountered something really weird... In the original angry birds, for one of the golden eggs, you had to go to the pause menu and click the question button, then scroll over until you get to the white bird and them click the egg. For some reason I did that for the halloween version and it worked too, except that there's no golden egg level, but I unlocked a golden egg...Can anyone else confirm this?
I never bought Angry Birds Halloween. Once you guys update, can you please tell me whether the Angry Birds seasons now has both the Halloween version and the Christmas version... or is the Halloween version gone?
Halloween is still there, at least in the HD version. There are two sections, Halloween and Christmas. There's also links to buy Angry Birds merchandise, like the new plush toys. I can't wait to play the new levels... No wonder this is tops in the iTunes store.
No, this game was formerly called Angry Birds Halloween and it was updated with the Christmas version. With this game being the one Rovio will be updating in the future (because they split from Clickgamer.com, so the Clickgamer.com version will no longer be updated), future updates mean that it wouldn't be too appropriate to continue calling the app Angry Birds Halloween.
