The name is like Angels and Demons and Deception Point, and there were elements of Davinci Code and Inferno in the trailer. That's cool, I really like all those books, I just want to know that's what I'm getting into... It's worth $2 for me to find out . I can make some video of it if you'd like. I kind of wish it was designed more for touch screens. You zoom into things by pressing arrows instead of tapping on the item itself. So I lost interest quickly. But might still give it a chance. Edit: Uploading video. I gave it 27 min and then quit. Seems most of puzzles are trial-and-error, no logic. At least from what I've seen so far. Maybe I'm missing something. HW PRODUCTIONS New Member Feb 13, 2016 3 0 0 Indie game development. It certainly has a da Vinci code vibe in the sense of conspiracies based in a historical context. I was inspired by 90s point and click games such as broken sword, the last express and Myst, hence the arrow based navigation. I know this is May not be to everyone's taste, so I am looking to re work it in Part 2 along with more complex puzzles for a longer gameplay experience as I know some are finding it too short. Hence the recent price adjustment. There will hopefully be three games in this series. If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I think four years ago I wouldn't have minded the arrows, but now it feels very outdated. It also removes a lot of the exploration aspect of a P&C if the only option is highlighted for you on the screen. I stopped at the levers puzzle because I didn't see any pattern and it seemed like the game wanted me to figure it out through trial and error. Was I wrong? Because I couldn't figure out how to exit the puzzle and search for a clue or something I may have missed. I was not about to try every combination of six levers. Maybe I'm just dumb/blind and overlooked something obvious? I do find the story intriguing and want to see what happens. But I wish the rest of it was a bit more engaging/polished. I indeed see where you are coming from and your video has provided me with plenty of feedback in areas to redesign for part two and for direct adjustment in an update for part I. The lever puzzle you refer to is indeed a Trial and error puzzle which I can now see is to much to expect somebody to try every combo.. and that a clue of some sort would greatly help to clear it. Thank you again for your feedback though and I hope to an update out soon to try and address some of these issues. AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #9 AppUnwrapper, Mar 2, 2016 Yeah, a trial-and-error puzzle here and there is ok, but if most of the puzzles are trial-and-error, it's not very engaging. I prefer logic over trying every option till something works. gakuka Active Member Feb 19, 2014 39 0 0 #10 gakuka, Mar 3, 2016 The game has a lot of promise. I liked the story, but the people's faces kind of creeped me out. I really enjoyed the cipher puzzle, but yes the lever puzzle was too much for most. Lucky for me I enjoy truth tables so I brute forced it pretty easily, only took me a couple of minutes. Should I post the solution? [SPOILER ALERT!! PUZZLE ANSWER BELOW] uduudd gakuka Active Member Feb 19, 2014 39 0 0 #11 gakuka, Mar 3, 2016 The lever puzzle is righ near the end, only 2 quick puzzles left after that, both are brute-force with some hints, they took me about a minute a piece. So in total it's about a 30-minute game, so $2 isn't a bad price I think. Like I said before, I think the story is also worth it, it's got a bit of history there and there is a Dan Brown vibe, so if you're a fan then give it a shot, but be prepared for some tedious puzzles.
