First off I'll say that I'm Milo, Fincon Milo. Which is to say I'm the Community Manager of the game. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Yesterday we had a lot of server issues (it was a rough start haha) so we delayed sending out the pre-registration carats. We'll likely be sending out coupon links to the email you used to pre-register sometime today (provided that the server gods are nice to us and nothing breaks). Imps? Well there are some goblins you fight, but they're certainly not the most ferocious enemy we have waiting for you. This is probably the biggest gripe I've seen with the game, and we'll look into what options we have but it's something we don't have lined up at this time (it was explained to me by people smarter than I that the cross platform live multiplayer pvp/party raids were made possible and relatively lag free because of this type of movement). We'll certainly look into that and monitor how game play goes on in time. One thing I will say is that there are different game types to explore all which use different kinds of stamina. So perhaps when your mission stamina runs out, head to Demon Raid or the Battle Zone. You don't find treasure chests on the map, when you defeat certain monsters they drop items which are displayed at the end of the mission. Hope this helps out, please let me know if you have any additional questions or comments!
I do like the game but I agree with comments above. The auto moving is annoying. I to control the character more freely.
Hi Fincon Milo Thank you 7 your team for your heArtwork. I hope the options for controls can be applied w/o lag Everyplay or Kamcord perhaps?
I'm sorry but is a network connection really necessary to play most iOS games these days? I was going to download it but stopped myself after I read about the Internet connectivity.
Seems like every thread has this same stupid post... Maybe you don't play on an iPhone, but I'm in Oregon, and have an Internet connection wherever I go. Why do so many people cry about needing an Internet connection when cell service is pretty much everywhere, and free wifi is easy to come by as well?
Lol. Let me get this straight, so you were going to DOWNLOAD this game using the NETWORK connection, then you stopped yourself, because you dont like the idea how games now-days use NETWORK connection?! Whats next? Are you going to complain that these games require more than 256 kb space on your device?
Not to mention pretty much every carrier has an unlimited plan. If you don't have unlimited, these games don't use much anyway.
Okay, ignoring the unnecessary caps from this post, it needs to be said that the Auto-move and attack is OPTIONAL. The currencies are there, yes. But I have to say there's been no major demand yet as I've been playing. The daily rewards and objectives have been so far generous with gems. I don't usually go for freemium games, but the amount of work and polish that has gone into Angel Stone makes it stand out rather well. Looking forward to getting into it a little more.
I beta tested this. As a long-time fan of this Diablo-style action genre, I was extremely excited. Couldn't download it fast enough and it completely fell flat with me. Nothing stood out about this and the combat just didn't do anything unique. The physics of the combat just didn't FEEL right either with is imperative for this type of game in my opinion. Fluid, natural-moving combat is a must or it just feel choppy and jarring. Also, any time a developer promises, "Intuative touch controls" I shudder. Drawing shapes on a screen or something similar to cast spells is just plain annoying. It's not fun or engaging and usually requires an extra often unnatural hand motion that just takes away from the engagement. Just because a game is operating on a touch screen device does not mean you have to turn the experience into a Nintendo DS experience to make me feel like I'm getting the most from my touch-screen. The touch-screen at this point is a standard, it isn't new or unique so I don't care if you don't take full advantage of the fact that I have one. Give me thumb-based controls with some hot-slots. Who, at this point, is still finding touch-based controls too overwhelming? Bottom-line: I did not enjoy this game in the beta phase though I admittedly have not tried the published version, I'm downloading it now and if the experience is substantially improved, I'll post my updated impressions. I'm 100% for giving developers a chance for improvement especially from beta to publish. I love this genre on mobile, but few have done it WELL. I have hope for the upcoming Torchlight Mobile. (EDIT) After trying the game again, I would like to add that the game feels more polished at this point obviously, but the controls are unforgivable in my opinion. I can't deal with the auto movement or tap-to-move systems. It's completely unnatural and is my main complaint. I've already deleted this game. If you can deal with these kinds of controls, give this a download.
Reaching lvl 20 soon. It's above average for sure for dungeon crawling genre and the co-op is pretty efficient too. 1) I am fine with auto moving 2) gestures or clicking on the button for skill works quite fine to me too 3) graphic is good 4) the energy recover 10min/per which is fine so that I don't get too addicted and can't go to bed on a daily basis 5) the gem given is quite generous So far quite a good game with more improvement in the future. 5 stars
Looks pretty damn smooth on my 5S: Gameplay on iPhone 5S: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
What a great slasher game this could have been, if it was served in the same 5-star kitchen as Implosion. Unfortunately, it's only served as a drive through meal. Fair to be mentioned; the life system and rewards let me play for a very long time. Actually i still could game on, but there is just nothing satisfying with this auto battler. Pity.
No ones going to make games like that, because they don't bring any money. Games like this are huge in Korea.
Do people really not see that these types of games NEED Internet. There's pvp, events, live servers that save data instantly. Like.. -.- Internet is needed. Quit derping and understand why it needs a constant connection. The games doing it for your convenience. Dedicated servers are pretty neat.
People on this forum seem oblivious to how bad the market for premium games is on mobile. Yet we continue to see this whining on every f2p/premium thread.
The special goblin (diablo3) event popped for me. Just smashed up a ton of gobs and got 10k gold, sweet. It's nothing like the closest thing to Diablo. Even though this has good visuals, dungeonquest was THE d3 for mobile. Interms of loot, stats, randomized dungeons, enchanting, element factors ect. This is just a sham. Sweet visuals, currency, 10 HOURS to play again after energy. When you play this game enough I assume that's when IAPS hit the hardest. You all know these games are rigged to not give end game loot unless you spend. We'll have to see. Once everyone plays for awhile and gets to end game we'll see what's up. It could end up being epic.
