My friend's cellphone plan is about to expire, she has the choice to renew it and upgrade her phone to a better one. She doesn't play much games nor plan to use the phone extensively for stuff like word processing or reading. She'll mainly use it for: - Taking photos, needs to have high resolution, and video recording ability (so she doesn't need to buy a camera or camcorder anymore) - Large screen size, touch of course - Needs to have very stylish design (iPhone 4 kind of fails on this, we both think it really looks like a brick, Samsung phones on the other hand looks really sleek), preferably black or white - Navigation GPS included or installable, not the silly latitude/longitude basic ones found on Android store, she means ones like TomTom or Navigon And that's about it. Thanks for any recommendations.
An iPhone 3GS can be found brand new for $99 with a two-year contract, I think. It has 8GB of memory, so I think if gaming isn't her priority and she will just be using the camera and navigation stuff, that would be a good buy. Only point of worry is the camera. 3 MP is pretty mediocre in the smartphone landscape.
I seriously hope you're joking. iPhone 4 is the definition of sexy. And you think Samsung phones look sleek? SLEEK?!?! You do not deserve to live.
yeah, only so many ways to package a device for us humans.. we are all built alike.. i do not see a phone being a octagon anytime soon. chris.
