And you know sometimes, people make jokes about complete idiots, everyone gets a good laugh, and only the trolls get offended. Do you honestly support this idiot's position? Then IMNS's position was reasonable.
I'm not supporting anyone's position but my own. I contribute to the forums plenty. I only complain in regards to your comments when you misinform people (constantly). He's a mod and should set a better example. If that's to hard for you people to gather then have your view and let me have mine. Theres very little independent thought on these boards as it is so just because I have my own opinion don't call me a troll, because you guys take that term way out of context by using it as a noun and not a verb which it is (to troll, trolling.....mainly used in reference to boating like "surfing" manifested itself to be applied to television & the web. However it's far to late to rectify it's actual use but I digress, the point is that's how I feel and this entire thread is based on opinion not fact. So my previous post is valid just as much as any replies to it. I didn't say what insm did was wrong, I only said I expected more from him, but I'm not his mom or dad he can do what he wants...I just see TA staff members are the ones that break the rules that they are suppose to be enforcing. What rule could he possibly be breaking by telling us about a Neanderthal and what he wrote about TA? I don't think he's hurting anybody's feelings, as the person in question obviously holds the opinions of these boards in little regard.
Yes I'm a TA mod. So? I'm just another member who has quite a bit of free time to waste on these forums so I decided to accept the offer to help them out here when they asked if I could moderate here. I try to keep my cool for the most part but come on, am I not allowed to poke some fun at a person whom I've seen trolling TA staff for over 6 months now? Do you not think that tumblr post was a complete over reaction to some gaming blog's GOTY award if not completely stupid and dumb? Thats what this guy has been doing for 6+ months. Non stop. He deserved some recognition for his stupidity so I decided to do whatever little I could. And about the term 'FOTY', I thought that was pretty funny given the situation. I do agree its nothing smart but then I didnt give it any thoughts. Why would I? I intended to make fun of an idiot and whatever time I gave to this post, it was way more than what he deserved from me to begin with. At what point are you going to realize that INSM isn't the President of the United States? Not every action of his has to be some full-blown scandal that deserves to be highlighted by the likes of you. Get down off your pedestal. Uh, you obviously don't spend much time here, because everybody and their dog pretty much gets blown up if their viewpoint isn't shared collectively with any of the readers. Believe me, we would've made it quite transparent that we didn't agree.
You know, I agree with ArcheAngel. I thought the same thing when I first read it. There's no reason to bring this up in the forum, or to draw such attention to it. I'm sure there's plenty of people who hate TA out there, and that's their opinion. So be it. However by bringing it up here, that's what made me think they were hiding something. IMNS has always been so level headed, and this seemed so out of context. Just sayin'
Ooh, very debatable. I've seen plenty of posts mysteriously disappear from the forums, especially when the "Freemium vs. Paid" debate was going around. I'm pretty sure this entire thread is based on insulting someone and their opinion. If you can do it, I'm pretty sure we should all be able to. I don't think he's trolling, he's making a legitimate point (in his eyes). Trolling is all based on your perspective and which side your on. I was accused for "trolling" for disagreeing with the Freemium crap (which, btw, turned out [sarcasm]great[/sarcasm]). Real trolling is nothing like what he's doing. He's just making a statement based on his opinions, albeit with a few unnecessary insults, but very few. Yes, I know this was an "example," and I gave my reply as if this had been what was really going through your mind.

You're wrong if you think you somehow tricked me here. In fact that was the only part of your post which I considered completely pointless and sort of dumb. Trying to act smart and thinking everyone else but you is stupid on the interwebz is one of the most dumb things one can do IMO. So nope. You didnt save your post from deletion with that comment. There was nothing in that post worth moderating and thats the only reason it didnt get deleted. I even made sure to let you know that with my comment so you dont think you somehow 'got me'. But apparently, that didnt work it seems as you are still under the illusion that it worked in your favor. If anything, that made your post sound like a desperate attempt to get attention instead of just an opinion. Disagreeing with some mod/admin is NOT a reason why we'd censor a post here. Your disagreement with my views on digilala is fine and understandable coz you dont know the full story. The world is not really being affected by TA's editorial policy in any way. Save your time and energies for something which matters a lil more to you. No one does what digi's been doing. Most of us comment once, maybe twice if we disagree with some site's policies but if they dont listen, we give up and move on. To hell with that dumb site if they dont agree with my opinion. Its just a blog. Not my son for whom I should keep trying till my last breath. But Digi is one persistent little thing when it comes to pointing out TA's 'wrong' editorial policies. So dont think even for a second that digi was just posting his opinion. He was not. He was once again trying to troll TA just like he's been doing for months now. So its not just an opinion which I disagreed with and made fun of. He was acting like an idiot and for way too long. He claims TA is doomed coz of their policies (why does it matter this much to him EVEN if TA is doomed is not something I'll ever understand). He also claimed Jared was an incompetent reviewer who was going to be the last nail in TA's coffin. He thinks his opinion is more valid than jared coz he had more/better twitter followers than him. He thinks calling people 'son' makes his opinion more valid and makes him sound smarter than others. He thinks he's some hotshot in mobile gaming world and has been claiming to 'Bomb' TA for about months now. I dont know if he's capable of bombing TA but 7 months later, I still dont see anything. That enough to let you realize digigala deserved this 'award'? There is more crap posted by him but I really cant be bothered to search it and post here. The ones I posted here were shared in IM convos with jared so I was able to find those links. But be rest assured there is a LOT more. Once you get to the idiocy level of digigala, you dont deserve anyone's 'level headed' reaction. @Brazillian, do you remember how many times you repeated the EXACT same thing? Thread after thread, post after post, all of them posting the exact same thing over and over again. Now read what I said in another post here and maybe you'll realize what was the actual reason behind moderating some of your posts (assuming they did moderate a few of yours).. Oh and btw, it DID turn out [noSarcasm]great[/noSarcasm] for ngmoco whom you claimed was going to fail with this freemium model.

Well then its a good thing you made this thread, to make yourself feel better, where I'm sure your time could've been used more productivly. & I still feel that you didn't delete my post cause you'd be guilty of every practice I accused your staff of. (Which is TA staff can insult and make threads deicated to insulting members but members can't) He may have been a non productive member......but really man? Like I said the only reason you did this is cause you knew it would be an easy win at your home field, from someone who probably is unable to defend himself.....did you want to beat up any handicapped kids while your at it? What I meant was that you don't have to go over the top with your disagreement. A simple post stating that you're against his consensus and why would have proved much more effective, and we could all be holding a ciilized discussion right now instead of this mud-flinging contest. But instead, you decided to throw the "I'm disappointed in you" in to lock this argument into its fate. You didn't have to bring the morals into this in order to get your point across, and it made you end up looking "holier than thou" anyway. Starting an argument like that never works. It may be a "game" to you, but thinking that you're the sole reason something didn't happen just because you said that is complete crap. You can't ever be completely sure as to why he did or didn't do something, and taking full credit for it just makes you look like an ass. Alright, so now that you've spent your time sifting through the Game Discussion thread, take a look at the Lounge. There's plenty of disagreement between moderators' opinions and the general public, and we're able to carry them out in a mostly civilized manner.
