It looks interesting but that one review with one star kind of makes me hesitate. I guess I will wait for more reviews before I decide.

It has nothing to do with games like SilentHill.
It is more like a 'old school' adventure. You have to solve puzzles, find hidden paths, etc. and it is not easy..

    Welcome Wolfgang.

This looks like an interesting game. Would be nice to see a video demo of the game play.

    Welcome

    Welcome to the forums Wolfgang!

Just a heads up for you - I went to the Australian iTunes store to look at your games description and found that the description was in a foreign language (at least foreign for me). English is the national language here in Australia.

You might want to check and then change the language settings for the games description for the Australian iTunes store listing.

    Welcome Wolfgang,

and +1 to Snow_Mani's "heads up", your game description is in German on the Dutch iTunes store as well. In my experience Dutch folk (though as a rule exceptional polyglots) are more familiar and comfortable with English...

    Wolfgang,

I love the idea of this game and just bought it. Unfortunately, I did not check to see if it was compatible with my first generation iPod Touch. It seems that it is ONLY compatible with the iPhone. This doesn't make any sense... I cannot see any reason why this should be so.

Can you please fix this? PLEASE!

    Hi,
Thanks a lot for the hint with the wrong localisation in international AppStores.
I have now uploaded the correct texts (in english) for international AppStores.

    Regards,
    Wolfgang

    Hi tangerine,
the game will be tested on a iPod Touch in the next days.
If the test is ok, (i expect that) the game will also be released for iPod Touch

    Regards,
    Wolfgang

Thanks! I've got my fingers crossed and I'll be checking the App Store regularly.

    Hi ozron,
sorry, but i have no video..
The controls are completly changed now and a little bit similar as in SilentHill. You move, make sidesteps and rotate with gestures on the touch screen.
The handling and sensitivity can be adjusted.

Furthermore 'old stlye' buttons, like in V1.0 or in DungeonMaster, can be enabled. Please try it.

Ancient Tomb works also on iPod Touch

    Hi,
I have done successful tests on a iPod Touch (2.generation): Everything works fine :)

I have now updated the information on AppStore from "iPhone only" to "iPhone and iPod touch", but it will take some time until the changes appear.

New Version 1.3 is now in AppStore with
    - faster graphics
    - more sound effects.
    - improved game handling.

No, it cannot work with the first generation Touch. Since the game does not require the external speakers or a microphone, there is no reason why it cannot work. PLEASE FIX THIS by correcting the form you filled out when you submitted the app to the App Store!

Considering that there are millions of people with 1st Gen Touches, it seems foolish not to make any app compatible (if it doesn't require the special features of the 2nd Gen Touch.)
Is it lazy coding, or developers who just aren't thinking it through?
