Touch Arcade got hands on with this game and revealed it is premium with IAP. Pocket Gamer has said it is 1Q or 2Q 2012.

Excited to hear more info on this one. Front page article said 'action shooter' which I thought was pretty predictable anyway!

I hate saying this, but I've lost all faith in Gameloft. Wish they would go about a bit differently with their buisness. Luckily there are other great game developers thats not greedy with IAP.

I miss the good old days where every new Gameloft game was basically an unofficial iOS version of a popular console game. It was fun to guess which game they'd copy next, and then to have my own mobile version of Halo or God of War or GTA or whatever. Nowadays, all their games are either sequels to their copies, or freemium crap. That said, I'm still hoping for Gameloft to make a Mass Effect clone, and that would be an awesome choice for their first Unreal game IMO.

I'm hoping for a Resident Evil or Dead Space clone :) Or a better version of Assasin's Creed.

Same here, after the terrible freemium games i'm just not interested in Gameloft, used to love their huge epic iOS games and bought most of them but the change in direction for Dungeon Hunter, plus some of their ridiculous freemium games, just not a fan anymore sadly.

How about instead of being a "fan" of Gameloft you simply evaluate each individual release and decide whether you want to play it or not? Seems to me a far healthier attitude than fawning on (or throwing hate) at everything a particular publisher puts out.

Yup that's what I usually do. Never got Evertales even though I have high respect towards CM, because it didn't look appealing. Didn't get Gangstar 3 even though I love MC3. I think buying decisions should all come down to individual apps and not the reputation of a developer/publisher which right now is poor for Gameloft.
