I've always meant to ask someone like you, do you taste things that you see of hear? I know this is a less common thing for people with synesthesia but I read it in a magazine once about how a kid sees clouds and tastes marshmallows.

Man, that is actually amazing. That's something i'd wish to have as a superpower.

It must be beautiful to see music.
Does everything turn that color? And when you listen to bands play, do you see bunch of colors cause different notes are being played at once?

    Whaat about drums?

It's like a bunch of colors moving around. There's a famous painter who had the same thing. His paintings are actually pretty similar, just moving. Look up Kandinsky. He saw things the opposite way. He would see things when he saw distinct colors, so he painted in a way that sounded good to him. It's actually somewhat similar to what I see the other way around.

If you ever get the urge to drink an enrire bottle of Nyquil, you will start start gettting your senses switched. I heard a cell phone go off and my entire body started shaking. And everything I saw sounded different.

Its an incredible feeling that I would not mind going thru again if not for the vomitting and liver damage.

That, my friend, is the sensation of being electrocuted, which would explain quite a bit.

  15. Yeah ... um ... consuming an excessive amount of acetaminophen and antihistamines is really not worth whatever brain-altering experience it sent you through. I'm surprised your mucous membranes didn't dry up and blow away...

My mom doesn't have the sense of smell, it took her a few years as a kid to realise that she was different. It's kind of a curse/gift, worked out well for us because we grew up on the farm, she was always the one getting rid of the dead animals. You could also fart and not have to worry :D It's also nice when she comes visit right after a smoke a joint, nothing to worry about! But she is also missing on a lot, like perfumes, memories that get trigger from an aroma, and so on.

Just read through most of the thread... first off, I do not see letters/numbers as colors. Second, sometimes I do feel like little tiny bugs are crawling on certain parts of my body, almost wonder if they're dust mites sometimes. The Prez, good luck on teaching your kid the wrong colors :p. And for B34$T, I think your brain broke from the NyQuil... :D
