I've been rather vocal about both my love of strategy (and board, CCG, etc.) games, and the unfortunate fact that most of them, while they may be installable on an iPhone, are nearly impossible to play due to tiny text and UI elements. Playdek games are a great example.

I've found a really handy way to make these games much more enjoyable for people like me who's device of choice is an iPhone/iPod. I'm unsure if this will work on any model or firmware; I'm using a 4S w/5.1.1.

Go to Settings->General-Accessability. Turn on zoom, and if you want, set triple-click home to activate zoom.

After you do that, you can zoom any screen, in any program, by 200% by double tapping with three fingers. After that, you can adjust the level of zoom.

This may be well known, but I, for one, hadn't dabbled in the Accessability section in the options menu before.
