I still using this cool web app on my ipad from last december and I've have a 4090 credit for the app.. It's. A must have
I've been with FMA since it started, but I'd like to know one thing: how do they get the codes? Buying the apps?
You CAN create a US account. Just supply a physical address to iTunes when registering an account. Google for ANY American address (e.g., that of a small company). I've done the same ;-)
THANKS! Insta"buy" I'm VERY happy because I wanted to purchase it yesterday for real money. I've gone for Aquaria instead. Now, I know it was the right decision )
Just make sure you check it whenever possible. Some 7 hours ago, for example, some 5-6 new apps were quickly added almost in the same moment.
I was waiting for Happy Friday to be over, before proceeding to redeem Amoebattle. And it surprised me haha,Max payne suddenly Pop out out of nowhere
Whelp, I'm really enjoying this game so far. This is well worth the asking price, and I think it will do well on eShop. Unfortunately, I still find the controls to be a tad clumsy. I tried control option 2, and I was really satisfied until I got to the part where you need to separate your amoebas into groups. The only way to do that effectively, of course, is to draw a ring around amoebas you want to add to a group, and the only option for that is control option 1. So, it's back to the two-finger camera. Not a huge deal, but it is definitely clumsy moving the camera around like that. On the plus side, this game really nails it in terms of portable RTS gameplay, something very few developers have been successful with in my opinion (trust me, I played about every RTS available on DS). This could have been developed by Nintendo, it's that good.
might be better to post impressions in the main game thread... this game definitely deserves a LOT more attention...
I agree the controls are pretty clumsy, but when you make control groups with a large amount of units, you usually want to separate them by type, ranged and melee in the level you're talking about. All you need to do is double tap a unit, and all of the units of the same type will be selected. Create a control group. Do the same with the other unit type. I greatly prefer control option 2 since moving the camera with 2 fingers is just too difficult, especially if you're playing on an iPod/iPhone. Tapping once to attack move is a lot easier a line. Force move just requires you to hold down an area for 1.5 seconds. I just wish the controls were more responsive though. My taps often go unregistered. I don't know if I'd put this up there with Red Conquest just yet, but it's been pretty fun. The game focuses completely on army micromanagement just like RC, which is definitely my favorite part of RTS games. It's a nice break from when I'm not playing SCII. Much more slow-paced.
Ok. I'm still not understanding or grasping the concept of the control groups. How do I choose/enable them? Do I press, for example, "1" and then choose how many amoebas to create a control group? I can't get the hang of it, and I'm sure I'm making this more difficult than it really is...
depends on wether you want a strategy game or a shooter and if you have that gig that Max Payne asks for
Select the units you want to be in the group first. Then, hold down the group number on the left side of the screen for 2 seconds. Whenever you tap the group number from then on, it selects all the units you assigned to that group.
