I'm playing it now. My quick impressions: - The Penumbra series got better as it went. Amnesia isn't quite as good (to me) as Penumbra was by the end. More wandering, fewer/simpler puzzles and actions. But not by a huge amount--it's still excellent! And very similar in play to Penumbra; same controls and interactions (no combat). - The LOOK is very nice. And very creepy sound design. - I turned off Hints, which may be why I didn't know there were keys for Inventory etc.--look through the Settings to see what commands are available. - Some of the encounters, though few and far between, are pretty scary! -Death is forgiving. It's for Mac rather than iOS, and I'd think any Mac screen would be sufficient. (Even 10-inch iPad games can be scary; and probably iPhone for that matter, since the screen size doesn't matter directly once you're immersed in the game.) How tiny? It's for Mac rather than iOS, and I'd think any Mac screen would be sufficient. (Even 10-inch iPad games can be scary; and probably iPhone for that matter, since the screen size doesn't matter directly once you're immersed in the game.)
