...and the winner is Minigore: Tiny creatures, Giant adventure. (by Evan Hsu) Santa congratulates Evan who will now get to be in Minigore! --- Thank you everyone for the flood of great entries we received for the Amazing Minigore Tagline Contest! The grand prize, as Santa is sure everyone remembers, is to see yourself run amok in the first update of Minigore, carefully hand-sculpted according to the 230-point Hardgore requirements checklist. There is more! All the finalists are already winners. That's right! Each runner-up is going to get an update named after their tagline and their likeness will contribute to the winner's character to make a very special Frankenstein character who gains ability to grow with each update and, in the sixth update, will become a boss in the game. How is that for amazing! The finalists, all six of them, shall be presented to you now: Minigore: Tiny creatures, Giant adventure. (by Evan Hsu) Minigore: You can't be serious. (by Jeff Effendi) Minigore: A swan song in G-minor (by Pieter Goedkoop) Minigore: Think life's hard? Wait until Hardland. (by Brandon Clute) Minigore: It's not fun unless it's Furry (by Vince Villani) Minigore: Thousands of them... one of you (by Charlie Faber) The voting ends on June 26th and the winner will be announced here and on the Minigore blog! Another amazing contest will follow when the Frankenstein is fully realized in the sixth update.
Minigore: Tiny creatures, Giant adventure. (by Evan Hsu) Minigore: A swan song in G-minor (by Pieter Goedkoop) While I like both of these I am tipped more towards Evan's choice.
Amazing! Great entries, I'd almost wish they'd keep the Frankenstein monster as it is! They are putting so much effort and detail into Minigore, can't imagine what Hardgore will be like...
Had to vote for "A swan song in G-minor" as it is so stupid (and funny too, especially in the original context) and from the looks of it is quite fitting for the game. EDIT: Santa, you should put that post in the app store description of the game!
Not yet, the dev estimates it will be submitted for approval on the 25 June, personally, I cannot wait to start playing this.
I like the first tagline but honestly, it's been done to death. SO with that in mind, I chose the last one.
The tag line "tiny creatures, giant adventure" makes me think that you play the role of the tiny creatures.
Hmm, I have a theory that if that choice was last on the list instead of first, it wouldn't have as many votes. A lot of people when they look at a list and look at the first few items and see one they like, they don't bother to keep going in the chances that something else is better. Also, some people just pick the first one cause their lazy. I really hope the last choice wins. >.<
