Awesome game, guys! I am not quite finished (still have to catch 3 llamas in one flight on level 60) but I've played enough that I feel I'm qualified to to make a couple of suggestions to the devs 1. Add something to use the coins after the first few levels. Right now they are 100% useless after you buy the (very) few things available in workshop. For example, make it possibly to buff the wingsuit to last longer. 2. Make the area of the screen for wingsuit activation bigger, a LOT bigger. I often die because the wingsuit does not activate when I really need it to because I've apparently missed the right spot to press. (I play on ipad air). 3. Nake new level goals available in midrun once the previous level goals are accomplished. Why do I have to crash before I see them? 4. Make game stats (my longest flight, my highest trick score etc) accessible from the main menu. they are obviously logged so why can't I see them? Keep up the good work!
Great explanation @CalinR -- That was a perfect way to explain about the double smash rocks -- I haven't played much with Paz yet (well, I suppose nobody has when they get this challenge, if the challenges are consecutive), so I don't really understand how he works and didn't get why anyone would want to play a character besides Maya because she's so light and flips so easily-- I guess there are reasons to use other characters after all. Thanks for that!
Glad that helped, it was totally on a whim that I checked this forum again too, so I'm even happier people are still getting stuff out of my posts. I don't like Paz very much either, and I also prefer maya. I'm confident in saying that's probably the majority sentiment. Paz's top max speed is outweighed by his weight and subsequent inability to flip easily. I get the point behind the character, but I think the one afterwards , with the rocket boost, can't remeber her name, is what Paz is except lighter, so still don't get the point. A few things, stuck on the backflip onto the rock bounce goal, arbitrary as hell. Don't like that at all and haven't played the game in a month because of that. I really hope the devs implement the dynamic mission system everyone's asking for, I realize it's a pain coding-wise, but for us non-score chasing people, this system kills prolonged interest in the game. Edit: of course, in proper fashion, I complete the goal immediately after I bitch about it. Still by chance, but the end result was the same, frustration. Also, the final and realistically only source of MAXIMUM frustration for me: the chasms that start lower than they end. I can't count the times I've said screw this game because I didn't jump at the EXACT right time to get both enough speed AND air to clear them. I get they're supposed to be a control factor for games to end, since there's no increasing difficulty curve aside from the player's fatigue, but what the hell, they feel incredibly cheap. I know how to jump them, I've done it a bunch of times, but my success rate is probably 1/5. Maybe it's my weak spot, but it really sucks seeing one and going "well, guess my game's over now..."
As for the chasms, be sure to keep your wing suit going al the time or at least have a long scarf and you can jump any chasm even with Maya.
This goal is easy if you practice using the wing suit. Keep it going as long as you can and use it after each backflip. Also use it to connect grinds. You should hit the goal in no time. Try for a 10x combo with multiple long grinds. For anyone having trouble on the rock bounce to grind use the wing suit. If you bounce on a rock you can then activate the wings and fly to a grind and it will still count.

Very, very cool the story behind the game. I really, really hope you devs made a living with Alto's Adventure
After many many attempts finally cleared my last goal of 250,000 trick points in one run. Must be more skill than luck as my very next run scored 320,000 trick points. If I delete and reinstall the app wonder how long it'd take to get back to level 61 again?
Thanks! I ended up using Paz and it worked easily! I wasn't a fan of Paz and kept trying to use Maya! This challenge made me stop playing for a while as I was frustrated! Glad to be back!!!!
After finally passing the two smash combo with Paz I finished the next set of challenges with him in my next round! His speed is crazy!
Deleted the app and did it all again. Took one week to get back to level 61. Single best hint I can give is use the wing suit to loop the loop every chance you get. The moment it lands the wing suit will be recharged. While looping there's little forward motion, and you can take the oppertunity to evaluate the situation in front of you.

I gotta say I really like this game. Everything from the gameplay to the art direction just jives right with me. I've been playing this game for a while, and right now I'm one level away from unlocking Tupa. This game is definitely a keeper on my ipad. With that said, am I the only one who dislikes the hover feather powerup? I feel that it's more of a hindrance than anything. Sometimes I go out of my way to jump to avoid picking it up. If you wanna know why, just take a look at what it does. Pros: - avoids rocks - protects you from head landings (combo won't count then though) - looks neat Cons: - sometimes makes you miss coins - sometimes makes you miss lamas - ALWAYS makes you miss ice patches - possible loss of momentum? (I feel like I lose some momentum whenever I pick up the feather, but that might just be me) Anyway, I feel that the hover feather powerup isn't very useful right now, and I'd like to see it improved somehow. Maybe instead of hovering, have it so that it lets you phase through rocks instead? That way you could still pick up all the stuff on the ground and hit those ice patches. Or if you must keep the hover effect, then at least make it so that you're guarded from elders' attack too. It's really frustrating when I need a quick boost from that ice patch to get away from an elder but can't because my feet aren't even touching the ground.
