Hey guys, been too busy playing this game to check the thread. I'm at level 33, and I still don't understand how to use the wingsuit. What am I missing here? I try tapping and/or holding the wingsuit icon, and it looks like I'm flying, but I usually just coast into a chasm. I got it to work once but can't replicate it. Sorry if it's been explained before but this thread is pretty big.
After tapping the wing suit, you need to press the right side of the screen to fly upwards. Make sure you have enough speed to stay in flight. You can tap the wing suit to switch back at any time.
finding the 30-40 level's challenges easier than the 20-30 level's so far, although I am only on level 36 so far. Also still using Maya mainly, her backflip speed is too good to give up...
Tupa is a ton of fun to play, but in terms of survivability I still prefer Maya. Tupa's extra speed means you have to react faster and have a greater chance for error. I notice an increase in difficulty around the 20k mark with a lot more rocks, but beyond that I haven't seen it get much more difficult. With Maya it is a test of endurance because I feel like you can survive forever as long as you don't take too many risks and don't lose the wing suit.
Triple backflips are tricky because they are dependent upon the environment. Most of the time you need a steep hill. Use Maya because she can flip quickly. Also, do you have the wing suit? That helps a lot. When you see a steep hill approaching, switch to the wing suit at the drop without jumping to maintain speed. Press the right side of the screen to tilt yourself upward being careful not to loop. Remove the wing suit and keep pressing the right side to start flipping. The idea here is to launch yourself at a 45 degree angle with enough speed to clear a lot of the hill. Don't let go of the right side, and when you see the ground approaching switch back to the wing suit just in time to not hit it. Often even when you haven't completed the triple it will still count when switching to the wing suit. Another trick is to use a rock bounce. Switch to wing suit, and if you see a rock approaching fly upwards then remove wing suit and start flipping. The tricky part is to time this right so you aim for the rock. Try to get a double backflip in before the rock bounce and then a single after which will count as a triple. Don't worry about landing on your head when you hit the rock, it will still count as a bounce because apparently rocks are made of something soft and fluffy. Good luck!
Ha. Now that my wing suit is working again, I can get it charged up pretty quickly. But I'm out of practice and keep crashing into chasms. That 25 coins with the wing suit is proving troublesome.
I can't grind 5 rooftops in one run for 4 days now (mission 38). I tried all the characters, up to Izel. Just can't. The rooftops don't appear (i escaped 4 elders) or they appear exactly where/ when i can't jump on them without double jump. (with Maya when i have low speed, with Paz/ Izel when i have too high speed and jump over the whole roof).
I had a bit if hassle there too, I got lucky lucky and pickied up a magnet near large groups of coins.
currently stuck on smashing through 6 rocks via the ice boost... it's like every time a icy spot pops up there are no rocks in sight! ugh!
Sorry guys, I remembered it wrong. It's 250,000 points you have to get on level 60 Thanks Maybe an hour a day? I've been playing it in bed on my ipad before I go to sleep. Yeah the rocks start going crazy. Tupa is still by far the better character once you are used to him. When you get to that 20k mark, the added boost time is a huge bonus. For anyone who is interested, here were the challenges that cause me the most time and trouble to achieve: - Spook 30 birds whilst grinding in one run (god this one was a pain in the butt) -Do a triple backflip off a grind. Still stuck on level 60 though! Haven't reached 250,000 points in one run yet, as I've been heavily focused on trying to get the 3 llamas in one unbroken wingsuit flight. EDIT: Ooh I see that the new update has just tweaked the game. Particularly the 30 birds whilst grinding one is now reduced to 20. All that time I spent!
So, I know someone said that to do loops with the wing suit, you just hold down your thumb the same way as with the backflips. But I still feel like I need to actually drag my finger in that direction. Am I imagining this?
