Hi everybody, Just a quick note to say were still here, listening carefully to all your feedback, and working hard to submit our first patch ASAP. Some things I can confirm for version 1.0.1: - You will be able to listen to music/audio from other apps while playing - Fixed various bugs relating to tricks and goals not registering while sounds are disabled - Fixed a bug that prevents the wingsuit from activating on a synced device, other than the one it was purchased on (or if the game is deleted/reinstalled on same device) - Improved detection logic for backflip over a sleeping elder goal. - Game Center achievements should work as expected for everyone - Weve doubled the touch area for the wingsuit button, so it's easier to tap during those crucial moments. - A certain wingsuit exploit (which shall forever remain nameless ) will be addressed. - Added some fun new "ramp to grind" sequences to ensure goals that requiring them are a little easier and more fun to complete. Two things I was trying to do happened at the same time; a double backflip with Paz (not a goal but something I wanted to see if I could do), and the double rock smash in one boost Well, one caused the other Loving this game and the challenges have been good for me so far, pushing myself to be better! Hope there are some wingsuit challenges!!

Yeah, "thanks", the game's officially ruined for me what's the point in chasing the leaderboards if you can cheat your way to the top? Until the fix comes the leaderboards will be ruined. I was on 30th place in distance, suddently it's 300:/ similar with the highest score.. Well, it's a pity, but I had a lot fun with the game, there's no doubt about that. Anyway, it's time to move to Flop Rocket...
Ugh. One of the aspects that had me hooked on the game was that (aside from a few hackers at the top), it's a clean game -- no buying or cheating your way to the top. Damnit.
Have to admit I feel the same. Haven't played much today as some of the shine has worn off, leaderboard amongst my game centre friends are what make this type of game all the more fun for me. Fixing the bug will only stop the people who update continuing to exploit, the cheated scores will still be there unless the boards are reset, which punishes us who worked hard for the genuine high scores. I keep telling myself it's just a game but it's a shame as it's the best game I've played in a long while and seeing that exploit posted has ruined it. Wtg Andy, for what it's worth I know wouldn't cheat.
+1 vote for resetting leaderboards. At this point I'm soley concentrating on friend leaderboards (as I do with many games, to be honest) and chasing down Mr Bate's great score. Edit: Thanks Cloud.
personally I don't really care for global leaderboards. I'm just looking at my gc-friends scores, which I know they wouldn't cheat (at least the ones from TA)
Don't be naive. I wasn't the first to find this bug. In fact, search Twitter and you'll find several people already aware, and likely several more people were already using it and didn't communicate this in the public or the developers. I just checked the leaderboards and as always with Game Center hacking is BY FAR the largest problem. The amount of points you can rake in with this bug is limited anyway, since even with unlimited wingsuit power you still lose speed and altitude. Eventually, you either crash down losing all your points or you land and can continu. For what it's worth, my high score is 138.297 and I know for a fact I got this before I encountered the bug. It's just a bug and I made sure the developers knew about it. Don't be so dramatic. To be clear: I've quoted one post but my point stands for more posts here.
Good point. Even if they reset the boards, those who don't update can continue to exploit it. I repeat...ugh.
Never really tried to place high in a GC leaderboard, don't have that mentality I guess. Not that there's anything wrong with it, just not my thing... So I am still loving it
That's too bad there is no way to get accurate leaderboards unless the developers have some way to limit it to a specific version. I mean besides the hacked scores. :/ Just found out about the bug and I won't be trying it. At least you can kind of tell in a screenshot of the score since the number of llamas and coins would be unusually low.
Of course the bug has to come to light after I bested my high score by 30K...<nervously looks side to side>. I agree with most of the others here. I only really look at my GC friends scores, which is especially true for Alto's, as I've been pre-occupied with the missions! I played intensely last night and elevated my level to 28! Still so far behind most, but slowly catching up...
Yeah, I think while you still have goals to achieve and characters to unlock, it'll still be worth playing. But once you unlock Tupa, it'a all about the high score.
Same Bug at Level 10 on iPhone6 So glad I'm not the only one having this issue. I've backflipped off grinds and done several double backflips but the game doesn't recognize it as an achievement so I can't move forward.
I've just had the biggest tantrum in my life lol. I've been stuck in the spook 30 birds while grinding challenge for what feels like forever, my last run I was going to nail it, I was to 90 odd percent and I was just about to end a long grind with a bunch if birds at the end, which I'm confident would have been enough to complete, and ........... The game crashed!!!!
Got it! Are you sounds turned off? Turn them on and it will work. App developer says this bug will be fixed in next version.
Weeheeee. Finally nailed spook 30 birds while grinding. The next set of challenges look like a piece of piss now. If anyone wants any tips for this one I did it using the llama character and taking advantage of his double jump ability to hit bunting and rooftops that would be out of reach with other chars. I didn't attempt any fancy tricks and only did backflips where necessary to get away from elders. This stopped me building up speed and helped me make sure that I hit bunting at the beginning, I didn't do any tricks while grinding to make sure my skis had as much contact with the bunting as birds are spooked while your skis are in the air they don't count. I did this on my last two runs and I'm confident that had the game not crashed on the first then I'd have done it on my first try with this play style. Playing it like that wasn't as much fun as back flipping all over the place though but neither was going for same mission a billionty times. Good luck to those of you stuck on that mission...
