Sure, go ahead! You might want to double check some of the points, especially the grind stunts since it is tricky to determine the exact amounts.
Btw, I know a few people have been complaining about the hover board, but did you know it's a super easy way to get proximity backflips? (Although preferably not when you're being chased by an elder.) Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Wow, that's *really* helpful! Thanks, rbates! I'm so far behind on this thread! Feel like I should start back at the beginning.
Still wondering if anyone has advice for doing the 50m in a row of proximity flight. I either end up hitting the ground and breaking the flight or lift to high from the ground. Any help is greatly appreciated. Every goal has been simple to this point (less than 5 tries on each goal) but I can't figure out the trick to this one and I am sure I am missing a nuance of the the gameplay.
Any special conditions for the "grind to backflip to grind" goal? I just completed a run where I easily did it a couple of times and it didn't get ticked off.
I finally got the proximity flight suit goal! I char she'd just seconds mdr after completing it but I got it! Lol. Should be able to complete the remaining goals withing a few days. Love this game and all the nuances of what characters work best for different purposes. This is hardly Ski Safari. This has so much more complicated nuances and is a completely different gaming experience. I look forward to what additions may be made for goals, charaƧters and store items.
I am finding impossible to make it past level 10. When I do a double backflip it does not recognize it as such. I am not certain, but I think that it is doing the same thing for the backflip off a grind goal. I am also running into a glitch where movement stops entirely sometimes, and I am unable to crash to finish the run forcing a restart. I think this last happens when I kiss the rail. Are these known problems found somewhere in the 45 previous pages? How are others progressing past level 10?
jbills, I've seen the same comment as a negative review on the App Store, but I don't think anyone else mentioned it here already. Not recognizing the backflip, got stuck and unable to move and forced to restart the game. To be specific, that person has the same problem as you described on the iPad Air, but the iPhone version worked fine.. I don't know, I'm completing level 42 at the moment and tested the game on 3 devices with no problems whatsoever. I suggest to contact the developer to find out if this is a known issue. Also providing your device and iOS version details would be helpful.
Well this is a fun bug: 1. Charge and activate the wingsuit. 2. Press pause. 3. Resume and enjoy an unlimited wingsuit. You might consider this cheating, but I did find this helpful for completing some later goals. Enjoy while it lasts, I've also emailed the developers about this bug.
Let me know th strategy you use to backflip over 2 sleeping elders in a single run On a different note, there's a quadruple backflip, I just couldn't write how many points it gives. I double backflipped with Izel onto a rock, then double backflipped again. Should be much easier with Maya or Felipe.
I was thinking it must be possible somehow!! Does anyone like using Paz? He seems sooooo slow to spin and doesn't jump very hard which makes escaping elders difficult!
What strategy? I'm playing with Maya most of the time and making backflips constantly. Elders are usually behind the small hill so the backflip is not a problem whatsoever. And my best run counts 6 elders, so I guess 2 is pretty much nothing, just a beginning of the better run
Uff, thanks, this is interesting... Just tested and recorded the trick for information. Seems to work out. I thins everybody has to decide on their own, if they want to make use of it or not. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
I can't speak for everyone else but I know I won't be using it, not even gonna test and see if it works. If I can't get the high scores without playing the game as intended and exploiting bugs then I'd rather not play at all. Kind of wish it hadn't been posted as even if most people don't use it, it creates doubt around the genuine high scores, and if people do exploit the bug then it's unfair to those who don't as they are disadvantaged when going for leaderboard scores. I don't know if it's possible but maybe the dev could reset leaderboards when the game is updated, I'd be happy to lose my high score if it means everyone starts off again on a level playing field.
I've had to put this down now, I'm on level 18 (I think) and I just can't do the jump 3 times from a wooden ramp onto a grind task. I just don't get the opportunities if I'm lucky I might get one chance per run and it's starting to do my head in. I don't mind failing something if it's down to my skills but the fact that the chance to try doesn't even arise is really bugging me
