I love the game, especially the art style. But man, some of these challenges are just too goddamn hard! At some point the dev will owe me a new iPhone because I will have thrown mine against a wall in frustration.

This happened to me yesterday and I tried restarting, but it didn't help initially. I left the game for awhile and when I came back, the sound was back on. You are killing it, CP! I've been hung up on the same missions everyone else has mentioned...finally got the 3 ramps on a grind after trying for 3 days! My score is seriously lagging. I didn't even make it into your screenshot. I'm hoping to get through level 20 at some point today. I keep stuffing it up.
Just made the Escape 2 elder chases in one run. The distances i got them are : 1st elder appears at 2.500m, escape at 4.000. Second elder appears at close to 7.000, escape at 9.000. I don't know if this will be the same for everyone, but just in case it is, you have something to go by and say: just a bit longer
To the devs: Do you guys have any way to curb the leaderboard hacking? It's really hard to tell where the real scores end and the hacked ones begin, and therefore hard to tell what's a realistic score to chase.
The hacking is evident in the gap from 200k to 900k. So the 900k+ scores is at least hacking. Btw has anybody noticed that all sound samples are kinda delayed? The 'catch lama', impact sound, get stars etc sounds all play like 1/4-1/2 sec after they should. Its not critical but together with the speed not being affected by physics, its kinda takes me out of a othervice wery immersive experience
The dev will probably need to issue an in-game waiver or something at this rate because that was me this past weekend. I'll tell you one thing though. Don't give up. I had one or two missions where I felt the same too but like many have advised, some of the missions require you to use a specific character to complete and even then it also depends a lot on luck as the levels are randomly generated.
Does anyone have a list of all tricks and the points for each? Might be useful to determine the best way to string combos.
so guys what kind of highscores are you getting ? are you up to 100.000 or 200.000? I got this one today chasing the elusive hover over a rock challenge. i did end escaping 2 elders in this run
I've not gotten anywhere near that 98k again. I managed 78k today and the run ended because my effing phone rang and I thought I'd pressed pause but didn't. But most runs I get 30k. Every now and then I'll get a great combo and if it's run where I've completes a couple of missions that helps too. I'm stuck now though, the mission is to "land a proximity backflip" can anyone tell me what that is? I've landed backflips in every possible place I think but can't clear this goal. Please don't tell me it's four flips lol.
It's just a backflip where your head gets close to the ground. I got it by accident. Seems like it'd be hard to plan for it.
Wait for a steep cliff with no ramp and jump earlier than normal so you are backflipping close to the snow on the way down. I think.
Damn youuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I noticed you on the boards and my daughter was shocked that you were not in first, she figured you must be busy or had some kind of accident involving broken hands, and when I got my high score she told me not to get excited because she would bet all her birthday money on you coming along and kicking everyone's arse. Great score.
Thank you for the help with proximity backflip, I got it straight away after reading here what it was, I'm assuming the next goal of proximity wing suit for 50m is the same but floating close to the ground?
I unlocked Paz earlier today and also bumped my high score to 53K, but still trailing behind almost everyone. I sat down and analyzed where my points are coming from because I thought maybe I had the wrong strategy...nope. I'm just not that great at combos (ie. this game). Oh well. It's still fun. I want to unlock the llama!
Aww, in that case I'm glad her faith in me wasn't misplaced. I've been playing Majora's Mask on the 3DS, plus other games on iOS. Too many games! Also, it took me a while to unlock the Wingsuit as at first I was only upgrading the magnet and feather. Once I unlocked the Wingsuit the game opened up nicely (although ironically I can't get close to the 19,000 point combo I got without the Wingsuit. )
