No! I'm not getting this. Within 48 hours I've gotten:

    Zen Bound
    Word-Fu
    Light Riders
    Scoops
    HeavyMach
    idracula
    Vector Tanks
    Blocked
    distant Shore

I can't afford another game until, like, never :p

Lite version is quite good, very polished overall. Controls are great as well.

Not so sue about the controls...and it appears that you can only snowboard in the lite version...frankly, snowboarding sucks.

there was already a thread on this, it just died quickly. Little interest in the game i think.

Little Red Sled is my Alpine Racer. ;)

Looks good, but for $6 - there are better games out there.

    Cheers!

I don't know what happened to me earlier, but it seems I hyped myself into buying a piece of crap. Looked great in that dimly lit video (I realize that NOW) but utter trash in actual gameplay. Controls are terrible too. Do NOT buy this!

Thanks for the heads up arta. My finger was dangling over the "buy now" button... simply because I loved the SSX series.

Tilt control worked well for me. I played the demo (only time trial on one route) and must say that I would consider a buy, if it was much cheaper. But it's sad to see that the game isn't nearly as polished as it could be.
Probably Namco doesn't really get that iPhone gaming isn't like usual mobile gaming...

You should have played the lite version before comitying to an actual purchase, thats just bad shopping on your part.

I kinda like the controls on the lite, try rolling you thumb in one spot. Have you played through the levels and are there lots of jumps? The lite is completely smooth. And is there some rock or rap, the lite's song is slow and melodic.

    Hey Arta,

The description of the game in the app store tells very little about the game. Can you tell us:
    1. How many courses?
    2. Is there a career mode?
    3. Are there unlockables?
    4. Do the different characters have different abilities.

I confess I really enjoyed the lite version of this game.

The controls work very well and maybe it is not being used properly.

    There are two:

    - Touch: in fact it's NOT touch to change direction, is more a gesture (as drawing a line) from left to right or right to left depending the direction you need

    - Tilt: it's like any other game, no difference here

What I'd like to know is about content because the game description is really short: game modes, career and so on.

There may be more in the full game, but the lite version really doesn't make me want to pay full price for it, especially with so much good stuff out right now and all costing less!.

Controls seem fine. I think I prefer tilt, but I like the way the touch controls move to wherever you want them to be.
