Question: I normally loathe Hidden Object games but actually enjoyed both Midnight Mysteries titles for their general atmosphere and the way they threw more traditional puzzle/adventure aspects into the mix. Am I likely to get anything out of Samantha Swift and/or Unusual Suspects?
I think so. They are HOG games but toss in some more elements than your standard fare. I strongly suggest looking through GameZebo and getting impressions. I think US is excellent, a really interesting game. But they ARE HOG. Not as adventure based as MM, but more than some of the Big Fish games. Card, also check out GameZebo. Lots of good info there about the game.
I got "Gardenscapes HD (Premium)" when it was free... so I'm good for HOG's for now. Thanks for the reply andsoitgoes.
Thanks. I guess for a buck I'm tempted to just give them a shot. Picked up Unlikely Suspects, but getting the "being modified" message on Samantha Swift.
My wife just started that one and I have to say that I am so impressed with the little things Playrix does to keep things fresh. You get to create a cool garden as you play the game? No IAPs? I really like it. But card, I DO explore you.. These are ABSOLUTE STEALS in terms of quality and they just ooze style and professionalism. Really, I think it's worth throwing $4 to get a backlog of some of the best games in the genre. SS is good (and she's quite the uh, character ). The story can be a little awkward but then you start getting attached to the characters and it becomes really fun. I need to get back to US. Hah, unusual, way to go with me getting that wrong. it was a great concept.
