I don't think there's a thread about animals... so here we go. I'm interested to see/hear what people have. Ask questions for caring a certain animal. It's all about pets Here's what I have: -I have two dogs (sisters, chihuahua/terrier mix) that are living with my parents. -Two small breed maine coon mix cats -Two baby razorback musk turtles in a 10+ gallon tank (for now) before I upgrade to a 20-40 gallon tank. -One crested gecko in 20 gallon tank Had: Leopard geckos (both female), emperor scorpion and a crocodile gecko (male 2 years RIP) before the move eight years ago. Had to get rid of them because I was moving out of state.. Planning to get a pygmy chameleon or dart frogs. Any suggestions on what setup I should get for one. I was thinking of a 12x12x12 exo terra terrarium for the dart frogs. They're so small that I think the tank is a good choice for me, maybe. For a pygmy chameleon (which are freaking hard to find), I would probably go with a 12x12x18 tank, maybe bigger. I find reptiles to be the most interesting. Alway fascinated with them. Always wanted a chameleon of any sort but I never have the time to spend $500+ dollars and even though I have experience with reptiles, I hear they are hardest to care for. Never even tried. I do hear pygmy chameleons are fun and somewhat simple to care for so maybe when I hit the reptile expo this upcoming August, I might find one. We'll see.
I currently have 2 Chihuahuas. I used to own 2 rabbits, 4 red eared sliders, a land turtle, a hamster, loads of goldfish, a Dalmatian, some tropical fish, 2 leopard Geckos and lots of chihuahuas.
Fish are not fun to care for. Having to clean the tank (20gallon) every week is a hassle. Bottom feeders are awesome but every other fish, from danios to tiger barbs (very territorial), are boring. Hamsters are always stinky
