Just ordered it: I really cant wait to receive it. I need a PC because all I have is my Macbook right now. This thing is stupid fast from what I've seen. The only problem is... IT TAKES SO LONG TO GET HERE! There are 10 Phases on the tracking number that you get from Alienware. July 28th: Ordered - Phase 1 - Order Confirmation July 29th: Phase 2 - Billing Validation July 30th: 5:18AM - Still in Phase 2, hopefully this will change today 9:42AM - Called in to clear up the whole Phase 2 ordeal, its passed it on their end, but I dont want to blog something thats not on my order status yet =D August 10th: Phase 9 - Shipped =D So yeah, this is going to be a blog thread of my shipment =D Super excited to watch it pass the phases. Planning on upgrading a lot of things in this computer as money comes by: -Q9650(or Q9550, matters how much money I want to spend on the processor, the current one is fast enough =D ) -Another 896MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 260 -8GB of Ram This things going to be a beast!

My alienware took 2 months to get to me, but I was overseas at the time... I love it but I'm building my next rig myself.... I'll be using the alienware in my arcade, so I'll need another everyday gaming pc
That's pretty rad man. Have fun with that. My friend had a model way back in the day and that thing was truely orgasmic playing on it. The orange colour can change right? I think it has a setting to where you can change the way the lights run off the tower. Like orange, blue, green and what not. At least my friends did. He had his strobe green and blue all the time. Looked f*cking crazy.
Just called them to ask why its stuck in Phase 2. They said I put "i dont know my daily limit" on my debit card when I ordered so they needed to verify or some nonsense. Anyways. That got cleared up, the guy on the phone was really nice and told me to feel better since I was coughing haha. The website still says Phase 2 but its passed Phase 2 on their end. HOORAY! I WILL BE DOING AN UNBOXING VIDEO WHEN IT ARRIVES, ALONG WITH A BOOTUP VIDEO AND MAYBE ME PLAYING CRYSIS! =D
Sad but true. I've taken to the buy cheap replace often philosophy on electronics. I've bought far too many bleeding edge $600 video cards that do 10% better on benchmarks compared to the $150 counterpart to bother anymore.
Just bought myself a new rig to build, cos exactly $1337 XP is going to be insane! I share your excitement of waiting ^^ Can't wait to be playing my real games on FULL HD
Took me about a week to get my M17x, but it was worth it. Heck, i'm even typing on it right now! It'll be worth the wait though
