Best weapon: Ray gun and Machine gun (The former has more effect on enemies and the latter has a superb rate of fire) Best car: Police car aka Justice (It's fast and destroys like a monster). It depends on your taste. If you like for more damage then get the Land Crasher but after using Justice,I couldn't stand how slow the LC went. By secret car you mean the Police Car right? I'm at level 118 now, unlocked and upgraded everything to max.Love the game but after level 80,it gets really repetitive and I have a ton of in-game currency now.
I didn't know the secret car was the police car. before refreshing to find your answer I did get to District 20 and therefore discovered the police car which is what i'll be purchasing. Thanks for the info on the Ray and Machine gun's. I'll probably end up getting the Ray gun to start off with. Can't wait to see what the dev's come up with for updates.
Er, no. I totally confess that gamers will always go different when it comes to difficulty, gameplay or grinding, but here you are absolutely wrong. In fact, I guess you aren't much in gaming, or at least you never really had to grind for something ... I don't want to offend you, but this is just the way games always have been, until someone smart invented what they now call free to play. There are things to buy, and to do so, you have to earn ingame money. And, truth be told, in classic games that's normally way harder than in this one, but for a good reason: how boring would it be, if you could buy the biggest car and biggest gun after some short sessions? Yes, I've played that game quite a bit, but not too much, and I'm now on district 81 and owe everything. Once you have mastered some basics and bought you a proper weapon, you can easily make 1k in one run. The police car was what? 20k? No no, my friend, thats not grinding ... In fact, I found the money thing very well balanced, even fair. Imagine the police car costing 100k, and THAN imagine you HAVE TO buy the next lower car for let's say 75k, just to unlock the police car, and imagine this concept for the weapons too, and for your hats ... And now you have an idea what grinding means. And futhermore, in this game there actually isn't any grinding at all, since you just go driving on and having fun. If you have fun, that is. If not, why not trying Crumble Zone, the other awesome highlight from rebel twins ... I totally agree! That's exactly what I thought very soon while playing on and on. How about these: you earn one heart after every district, and / or you get your hearts full after every big boss? Sometimes you are just a little unlucky with those ram cars, but that way you could limp to the next big boss, playing your own Die Hard, and ... intense suspense ... make it to the final door and can go on ... Whooohooo!! Devs, can you hear me?!? Something like that would be the mega additional awesomeness ... Of course that would mean to fix this final elevator door bug ... Great game! Edit says: some more challenges would be nice too. I already got them all, except for the tnt barrels, but that's a bug too, isn't it?
Hey guys, I want to let you know that the update with some bug fixes is already submited. Should be out soon! So to get us back on track... 'a cash sink' and 'go as far as possible in one run mode'.. [thinking...]
Haha you could always do something like Ridiculous Fishing's Toppest Hat I think a cool idea would be if you could buy dual wielding for each weapon so you could shoot both directions. Just make them really expensive and only buyable after purchasing all upgrades. And have it togglable as well. Not sure how feasible that is, especially in regards to animations and balance, but just something I just thought of Oh, and congrats on the awesome review!
A good bit of fun. I don't love the physics when driving, or the inability to shoot while driving, but it's still great fun. The upgrade system is logical and doesn't provide for any IAP (awesome). It might make the game a little bit of a grind, but it's so replayable that I personally didn't mind. Definitely worth the $1.99, especially when no IAP are required for a barrel of fun.
Wow, we are totally blown away by the Touch Arcade review! Massive thanks to Shaun - very much appreciated! @ JCho133 Yeees, double guns are part of the upcoming update!
I have the feeling that the latest update made the game buggier. First I opened the door to the roof and and at once I was at a random position in the building, lost a few hearts and then suddenly respawned on top of the roof. Then after a pretty successful run, the app crashed and I have to start from where I started that run :/
I really can't get past district 49. Just died at 51 again and the app crashed again! Alright I made it when I died at district 50. Hopefully I can get past 51
Geertyy, please tell me two things: What device do you use to play? What iOS version are you currently using?
No problem, things are working fine again and I'm already at district 59 right now by the way, I noticed that I'm not getting any lag at all anymore since the update, so that's good!
Finally, we can unleash the news and let you know that Aliens Drive Me Crazy update is coming soonÂ… very soon! THIS THURSDAY
